Staff were nice, rooms were clean, restaurant food/service good albeit overpriced as most are. Only complaint is the location-while proximity to subway a definite plus, property is in a somewhat desolate/dated corporate area that is fairly shuttered after 6 aside from the Wharf (10-15 min walk). Reasonable property but not the best option if you want a more lively or vibrant neighbourhood feel.

Parking was definitely difficult to find and moreover wasn't part of reservation!!! Which was shocking!!! Breakfast was not included and you have to pay separately,,, upon arrival sink faucet was broken, but they came quickly and fix it, room was clean and like a luxury room!

I visited D.C for the first time 3 years ago and stayed at this hotel . I remember it being so nice and the service was great. However, when visiting again for my sister’s birthday weekend 3 years later it was truly distasteful and disgusting. The staff decided to upgrade our stay after acknowledging her birthday which was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. The staff didn’t stop there, they went further to add in a complementary drink at the bar AND FREE complementary breakfast. We enjoy our night but unfortunately the next morning was far from enjoyable. We go downstairs for the free complimentary breakfast and even stopped at the front desk to ask where breakfast was being served. The breakfast staff watched us all throughout the kitchen until we were finished and once we started looking for seating ,two of the male staff said asked “did you get breakfast included in your stay”.Which was immediately off putting because why are you questioning us when you didn’t question the other guest. So the staff member then goes further to ask “what’s your room number”I let him know but again WHY when you didn’t question the other guests. The breakfast staff then went to print out our reservation I would assume and go question the front desk on whether that was factual . Donald at the front desk acknowledged we did and apologized .We didn’t eat after that of course . Clear racial discrimination. A Hilton hotel will never see my money again.

On the second day morning before we checked out, I was making the bed and found an earring in the bed. Therefore I suspected that the housekeeper didn’t change sheets after the previous guest. This should not be acceptable! Yuck! I told the front desk when I checked out. And yet she didn’t take it seriously. I feel violated. I shared the sheets with a stranger. Can you imagine how I feel!?
