The absolutely worse place I have ever been to in my life. The room is dirty, unkempt, and noisy. My daughter and I got bit all over our bodies. We had to wait hours for towels and toilet paper. The television has barely 5 channels. Housekeeping speaks absolutely no English and are just nasty with how they maintain the rooms. Unless you are absolutely desperate do not stay here. The front desk staff are rude. They barely answer the phone. I was told that my room was going to be changed and they never did it. By like 7am the noise of the construction wakes you up. You canât sleep! Gun shots at night time. The only thing that was good was that there was hot water and heat. Run in the other direction!!
This is a super-budget place, and as such it is fine. It is relatively clean (except towel had some suspicious brown spots). I did not appreciate when at check in the person tried convincing me we requested a smoking room, I had to pull out my reservation to prove it is for a non-smoking one
Room was clean and quiet, and the shower was good and hot. Big pluses there. We arrived about 9pm and were unable to find a desk attendant even though office door was open, no sign or bell to ring. Finally appeared after knocking om office back door. Bathroom sink plug would not raise up so water would not drain from sink without being propped open. Our door cards stopped working approximately every 12 hours during our 2-1/2 day stay. We were sad that the ice machine wasn't working, but the desk attendant suggested asking the fancy restaurant across the street for a little ice and that worked! The very friendly housekeeper was happy to allow us to use her dryer for some hand-washed laundry we had. Interesting neighborhood, a part of DC behind-the-scenes.
