Excellent location, and parking was easy. Could not access property on time due to housekeeping emergency - we received no proactive notification of this. Reason for poor rating: The purpose of this stay was to attend my grandma’s funeral at Arlington National Memorial, which I communicated at the time of booking. When we are literally AT THE FUNERAL and I’m preparing to deliver the eulogy, Natascha messages me asking to enter the property because she needs to add a router extender since the downstairs unit (not ours) isn’t getting cable TV.I reply reminding her I’m at a funeral, and since our dogs are in the unit and I’m worried about them escaping, it would be better to wait until we could return to the property. I said we planned to checking on the dogs after the funeral, and could be there by 4:30.Her response?“OK, I will see if I can wait that long.”Seriously? How is a lack of cable TV an emergency? Everyone has a TV in their pocket, it’s 2025.We left my grieving family and rushed back as soon as the funeral was over. Natascha came in and did something with the internet while loudly on speakerphone with someone. No expression of condolences. I was in shock.We planned to stay an additional night but at this point the treatment was so disappointing that we left the next morning and didn’t even request a refund for the unused night. Wasn’t even worth the aggravation.I have literally never had any experience like this at any home stay - ever. Avoid.

About a 20 minute walk to Georgetown University. We were moving our daughter in there so the location was so convenient. The only downside was the washer/dryer
it’s an all in one unit and I could not for the life of me get clothes dry and ended up having to hang stuff over chairs and on the couch to dry. Maybe invest in a stackable washer/dryer or give detailed instructions on how to use the unit there. I tried googling the model but still no luck. I will say the owner got back to me very quickly when the TV stopped working and was going to try and fix it before my husband figured it out. Overall we’d stay here again and just not plan on doing any laundry LOL thank you!

Charming and convenient.

Beautifully restored appartment on a quiet street in Georgetown. The checkin was easy, the location was wonderful. Everything we needed for our stay was there and a grocery store was just a few blocks away for any additional items. It was perfect for what we needed. Parking is always an issue in Georgetown, but during the day we had no problem finding a spot right near our building. The host replied very quickly with any questions we had and everything worked perfectly without a hitch. We will definitely keep this place on our short list for any future trips to Washington!

Georgetown Getaway

We loved this VRBO. It was clean and comfortable, the kitchen area was very well appointed and the location is beautiful. My only concern is that there is a very long flight of stairs to get up into the apartment and if you are elderly and especially if you have heavy luggage this will be a challenge for you.

Charming, comfortable and convenient

My family stayed in this charming apartment with pets and all during GWU family weekend! It was a beautiful space with modern conveniences and thoughtful kitchen staples. It was quick ride to the campus. So close to the Montrose park with a lot of lovely walking trails for my dog. Very friendly and safe neighborhood. We had a wonderful time and it'll be a great memory for us.
