We had a pleasant but somewhat unusual experience. For example, the cleaning crew was really tidy. But one morning they showed up at 8 AM, and when we asked them, whether that was normal, they said we should have hung our do not disturb sign on the door knob. This happened, even though no one else in our hallway, had done that. That was just strange. Otherwise, our whole day was fine.

This is a beautiful hotel that is about 108 years old. The foyer and public areas are just gorgeous, and I love especially the arched doors. Even the dining room was incredible - such high ceilings! Staff was very good.

Nos encantó el hotel y el personal fue muy atento y amable todo el tiempo, habitaciones muy limpias. El hotel es muy bello por si solo, y te reciben tan bien que en nuestra próxima visita a la capital queremos volver al mismo hotel! Además cuidan las maletas, nuestro vuelo era a las 10 de la noche así que eso nos ayudó mucho a disfrutar el día después del check out

Quaint, historical hotel. Because of the reasonable prices, I opted for the junior suite. Surprised it did not offer a microwave or mini fridge. I love being able to warm up my coffee. Comfortable bed, nice linens. Parking was surprisingly easy —on the side street in the evening and in the garage down the street during the day for $18

The staff is welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant service could have been better. We waited almost 10 minutes to see a host and be seated. It wasn’t until we decided to leave that we saw a waitress carrying food. I guess she was doing it all. Our choice to eat at For Five was a great one! The hotel is in a great location to walk to all the historical sites and museums. We had a fantastic weekend in DC. Highly recommend.

This was our first time in Washington DC and it was an incredible experience. Easy valet parking, a little expensive, but made it less of a hassle to find somewhere to keep our car. It's very very close to a beautiful little park, has great food right near by, coffee shops, burger spots, etc. Very pretty hotel, not the best views from the room, but it's the city, so we weren't worried about it. Spent many days coming and going as we pleased, walking to each Smithsonian museum. Wonderful time, we will definitely recommend it to all our friends.

Room had multiple switches that did not work no amenities. Staffbwas unprofessional whern i showed then a used qtip was in my bed and "we can clean bedding" and charges applied that "they dont have in their system".
