The Ven is in an excellent location, a short walk to the Metro red line. It's very comfortable and well maintained. Only the cockroach in my bathroom one morning marred my visit. But hey, it's the city. At least it wasn't a rat, right?

Easter weekend

The room was comfortable enough. The bed and linen very comfortable. It could have been a bit more updated but looked nice. We got the breakfast package. Food was good a buffet on Sunday would have been nice. The coffee at breakfast was not good was very weak. Would have been nice to use the. Rooftop lounge.

I stayed 2 nights and had a mostly pleasant experience. The hotel is lovely. Check-in was easy, but there are a few steps going up to the lobby and no accessible elevator. There was a service elevator with no access. I am able bodied, but people with mobility issues

Very friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to assist after my husband broke his ankle sightseeing. The room was comfortable and the amenities were excellent. We will definitely keep The Ven on our list for our next visit to DC.

Excellent hotel for easy access and friendly staff

Only objection was that the water could have been hotter. I could take a shower, but the water never got REALLY hot. Staff was great and the $28/day credit in restaurant had us eating there for most meals....but the food was wonderful! The bus tour pass was a PLUS...we did that the morning before we went to airport. Thank you!!!
