It’s a typical old remodeled property with a few quirks. But it was clean and quiet and a perfect home base for using the metro to explore the city.

Small Apartment very close to a Metro Station
The metro was very close and we were able to get anywhere that we wanted to go in the DC area easily. We didn't rent a car so this was important to us. The kitchen met our needs as we were able to make breakfast and dinner. We usually went out to eat for lunch but saved money by making some of our own meals at the apartment. There were plenty of dishes and cooking materials to use in the apartment. We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time. The apartment was small but perfect for two people. If you are unable to do stairs then I wouldn't recommend this apartment since it is on the third floor. We checked in and out easily using a lock box on the porch.

Just right, eclectic and convenient.
My fiance and I stayed here for 5 nights. Anthony was quicky responsive to any questions and provided clear check in/out details.Parking was free on the street and we were emailed a pass to print to place in our car. There were generally at least a few spots open nearby. The Metro station is only about a 3-5 minute walk away which we loved. There were several places to eat, drink, or grab supplies or groceries all within walking distance. The apartment is up 2 flights of stairs with a common shared entry. The entry area could use a little brightening up, but the stairway and apartment were plenty bright. We found the apartment to be just right for our needs and quite enjoyed the array of mixed decor, furnishings and, variety! The house is older while obvious updates have been made to some areas such as tiled flooring, shower - and a jet tub. The kitchen and living room area are combined and not very big which was perfectly functional and comfortable for the two of us. The bedroom was quite large with plenty of room for our luggage and moving around. The bed was comfortable. We had both hot and cold weather while staying. The air conditioner in the bedroom will likely need updating before summer, but the one in the living area was great. There was an extra heater in the bedroom as well if the main heat wasn't enough. Some things here were older, some were newer....but everything was functional and clean. Other

Close to metro
Listing as described. Steep narrow stairs as informed. Not staged, but someone lives there. Small quarters. Clean. Felt safe in neighborhood. Host was responsivere.

Nicely Located!
I was in the area for an event in College Park but wanted to stay in DC to be closer to all the attractions. This cute apartment is super close to the Green Line (Georgia Ave-Petworth stop), so going back and forth to College Park was a breeze, and it was convenient for getting downtown. Some great restaurants nearby (Thai food at the Pantry), and a short walk to President Lincoln’s Cottage historic site, which is well worth the trip. Anthony was responsive, and I appreciated the nice touches (tea!). Third floor made it a bit warm, but the AC made quick work of that. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
