Had booked most expensive room and requested at time of booking the room to be on a high floor. The hotel was at best 20% capacity but we were given the room on the 4th floor which for this hotel is the second row of rooms. Also charged an additional night "resort charge" for each night of cUS%50 including taxes but only informed on check out and the actual benefits you could have had from this "resort tax" so no benefit to us except free Wi- Fi - on a $1,000 a night room it is a 5% tax but on a $200 room it is a 25% tax

So the good things. Beautiful hotel inside and out and the staff were very pleasant. Not so good things. Ridiculous prices. The downstairs bar and upstairs bar were crazy over priced and I mean waayyyy over priced. Our shower door didn’t close all the way so it would leave huge puddles. There was some sort of storage room or something above our room because at 1am everyday we could hear furniture scratching all and being dragged in the floor. Our with a view room was a lie. It was competed blocked by a tree. This is the kind of place that’s only worth it if your business if fronting the bill. There’s so many nice options that are much cheaper. I would never stay here again
