Sadly, the property wasn't up to the level we expected. It seemed clean at first, but then we discovered dirty dishes in the dishwasher, a beer cap under the edge of the fridge, and an overall tiredness to everything. The sheets were cheap, and the mattress had a plastic cover -- it was like sleeping in a hospital bed. Towels were small and inexpensive. The basic kitchen supplies were there -- soap, sponge, towels, etc. but NOTHING else (at least salt and pepper would have been nice). The corkscrew was in the drawer, but broken.
So it wasn't even as good as staying in a Residence Inn, which is what the size of the unit resembled. In the end, the only plus was the second full bathroom and a very nice gas fireplace. Despite elaborate instructions, we couldn't figure out either TV, and the internet didn't work the first day, although it did work on day two. The location is great, and if you don't plan to spend much time there, then it may work for you. We won't be back.
The condo was dated and that was fine. However, it was not clean. There was toothpaste drippings in the master bath sink and counter. Stained on the bedsheets, fingerprints on the television and a giant spider in the tub. Lots of dust and the smell was old and musty. The place just had not been cleaned for some time. The place was so uncomfortable we stayed next door at the Eagles Nest. We didnât even stay one night at the condo and didnât get her money back. It says something when youâre willing to lose your money and stay at another place because of the uncomfortable environment.
