Located approximately 40 miles west of Fort Worth in scenic northwest Parker County. The guesthouse is a 600 square foot, one room offering comfortable accommodations for a single traveler or couple. There is a queen size bed with room for 1-2 twin size blow up mattress (provided) to accommodate up to two more guests. Families welcome. Please let us know if you will need the blow up mattress.

There is a ROKU tv. Wifi (50 download, 5 upload) The guest house has a full size kitchen with stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee pot and a filtered water system. There is a large bathroom with tiled standup shower. The guesthouse has a relaxing porch overlooking an in-ground 5 foot deep pool. All guests swim at their own risk. Pool is currently covered for winter.

For a relaxing night there is a fire pit, small charcoal and small blackstone , and a serenity garden. Enjoy the great outdoors. Pets are welcome but we do ask they not get in the pool unless you’ve asked us prior.

Located 12 miles from historic Weatherford which offers many restaurants and shopping. 45 miles from Texas motor speedway and 60 miles from Dfw airport.
Dove ridge vineyard- 16 miles
Covered Bridge venue- 13 miles
Tricks Creek venue- 15 miles. Minimum age requirement- 21 years or older.

Early check-in and late check-out is based on rental activity and can be confirmed within a few days of the reservation.

No cleaning fee.

Place was perfect for my wife and I. We had a family members b-day close by and were in need a place that was in the area. What was a pleasant surprise was how peaceful this place was. Defiantly recommend if your wanting to get away from things. Host were super nice and friendly. Will be staying again if we find ourselves needing a place in this area.

Perfect little cottage for 1-2 guests. The property is peaceful and relaxing. The pool was closed for the fall, so didn't get to enjoy that but it was a great stay anyway. Loved the sourdough bread!

We wanted to get out of the City and this jewel caught my eye. Sarah met us when we arrived and departed. It was just as described, has a full kitchen, a bistro table to eat, 2 comfortable upholstered chairs, queen bed, smart tv, wifi, and a pool steps from the porch. Sarah left us a fresh loaf of her homemade sourdough bread and honey butter. There was even coffee and condiments for your coffee. It is quite rural and beautifully landscaped. Even though the rental is behind the main house the way it’s landscaped you have your privacy. When you arrive make sure and read the book on kitchen counter, it has a menu of homemade breads and pies she will bake for you at a nominal fee. Make sure and take a little stroll past the flowers on the path. There was a place to have a fire and the kindling was already in the pit and had split logs and 2 chairs to enjoy a fire if that’s what you like. The only negative for me is the Queen bed was too soft. However, I’ve had several back surgeries so it might’ve just been my back. It’s a beautiful location and you will not be disappointed.

So thankful we found this beautiful, peaceful refreshing place to relax and celebrate our anniversary. It was exactly what we needed and as described. Everything from the cozy, clean, well stocked, adorable cabin, to the lush flower gardens and serene pool had such a welcoming feel. Sara the host was very accommodating and super helpful, and blessed us with the most delicious chocolate chip cookies and fresh waters as we arrived. We enjoyed the adorable animals around the place and especially sweet Henry the donkey which we looked forward to feeding each day a few carrots. We didn’t bring our fur baby this time, but look forward to returning and bringing him next time. It’s exceedingly rare to find such an amazing place that doesn’t charge a pet fee or cleaning fee. A lot of well thought out care and love went into creating this place and is a hidden jew. Thank you!
