Valley Trail Riverfront Townhouse with EV Charging 2 miles from Mount Snow

This newly renovated townhouse is located in the heart of West Dover just 2 miles from Mount Snow. The Valley Trail runs right in front of the house so you can easily walk to restaurants, bars, shops, and the town movie theater. Directly behind the house is the North Branch of the Deerfield River, and on the other side of the river is the Horace Hill Recreation Area with trails for mountain biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and 18 holes of disc golf.

All the furniture, mattresses, linens, dinnerware, pots and pans, etc. in the house are brand new. On the first floor there's a mudroom and foyer entry with space for outerwear, a large bedroom with a closet, desk space for two laptops, a queen-sized bed, a spin bike, a wall-mounted TV, and a full bathroom with a shower directly across the hall. The second floor has an open-concept great room with a fireplace (free firewood and fire-starting supplies are provided), 75 inch wall-mounted TV, dining area, kitchen, a deck overlooking the river, and a full bath with tub and shower. The third floor is a sky-lit loft with two double beds and floor space to accommodate two additional twin mattresses on the floor. There are two foam twin mattresses in the closet of the loft that can be brought out and set up for sleeping on the floor. Two warm comforters for all the beds are included.

There's plenty of parking for up to 4 cars and a level 2 charger available for EVs. There are solar panels on the roof and 2 Tesla Powerwall batteries which should provide backup power for the house if power from the grid goes out. Free wifi is available throughout the house (2 gig fiber optic). Decks in front and behind the house, and a second floor deck you can access through from the dining area. Great view of the river from the rear decks and the kitchen windows.

The Valley Trail in front of the house connects to an extensive 14-mile trail network that runs throughout the area, and you're only steps away from the Horace Hill Recreation Area (just off the Valley Trail). The bus stop for the free MOOver bus is directly across the street which stops there every hour, and will get you to Mount Snow in about 10 minutes or 20 minutes going the other direction to Wilmington. Whether walking or driving, access to restaurants, bars and other activities is very quick and easy.

Such an amazing spot to explore Vermont! Townhouse was fully equipped with everything we needed -- we forgot gloves but there was a whole closet full of winter coats and gloves! Location was perfect -- we went cross country skiing at Prospect Mountain and just a couple minutes away from Mount Snow for downhill skiing plus all the cute diners and restaurants and bakeries close by. Host was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. We would love to come back next winter!
