The Space:
A traditional stone house located in Kitries, Mani, just 13km from Kalamata and 1km from the picturesque harbor of the village. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area, and two levels of sleeping quarters.

The first level has two beds (1 double and 1 single), while the second level has three beds (1 double and 2 singles) and a spacious bathroom.

With its stone construction, the house stays cool throughout the year and also features Wi-Fi for added convenience. This beautiful residence is perfect for groups of up to 7 people who want to enjoy the beauty of Messinian Bay and experience unforgettable moments of relaxation and tranquillity.

The Neighborhood:
This residence is situated in the charming fishing village of Kitries, which is just 14km from Kalamata. Une maison faite pour les touristes donc pas extraordinaire cÎté déco. Néanmoins une hÎte absolument adorable et un équipement vraiment complet au niveau de la maison. Les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité de la maison qui semble hyper déco et est meublé sommairement.

The pictures are accurate! Bedrooms are small but the outdoor space more than makes up for it. Having only one bathroom for our 5 people was fine as it is separate from bedrooms. Beautiful garden and fruit trees. Hostess was very attentive and friendly.

Schönste Aussicht in ruhiger Gegend

Der Empfang war herzlich. Die Gastgeberin sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auch Empfehlungen der Gastgeberin fĂŒr örtliche Restarants waren ein Volltreffer. Das Haus liegt gut gelegen fĂŒr kleinere AusflĂŒge an die schönen umliegenden StrĂ€nde und die Stadt Kalamata. Aber auch etwas weiter entfernte SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten wie das historische Olympia und Messine sind durchaus eine Fahrt wert. Alles in Allem erwĂ€gen wir einen weiteren Aufenthalt.

Our stay was very disappointing. we were supposed to stay here for 4 nights but left after 1 night because we didn't sleep all night because of barking dogs on the property and were woken up from 7.45 by construction work. we left after 1 night and didn't get our money back. very disappointing!

Looking for a view, STAY HERE!

This is a stone summer home with the most magnificent patio/deck on the first floor providing a totally unobstructed view of the Messinian Gulf. Sunsets are stunning from this place. Finding a place with a view of the gulf was our priority this visit, and we found it. The home is rustic, and in February when we stayed it was quite cold but that was no problem for us. The mini split heater worked just fine. There are beds on both levels, we stayed entirely on the 2nd level with the bathroom and a door to the fabulous deck. The inside staircase to the 2nd floor might be a difficulty for persons with mobility challenges but we are both relatively fit 65 year olds and we just ascended and descended slowly and held on to rails. No problem:-). Also, there is a more manageable outdoor staircase that can get you down to ground floor too. No pans in the kitchen (that we could find) for cooking so bring your food. A hot water kettle and drip coffee machine is provided and that was great for us. The owner, Eleni, is a delight. She made check in easy, greeted us our first day, and left us some of her freshly pressed olive oil. There are 2 very friendy girl cats, Kitty and Loco, that kept us company for this visit. We loved our stay here and would stay here again. Thank you Eleni!

Schöne Unterkunft in wunderbarer Umgebung

Die Gastgeberin Eleni ist herzlich und hilfsbereit, das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet und nett möbiliert. Die Terasse ist sehr gross und der Ausblick traumhaft. In ein paar Autominuten ist man am Strand (Schirme mit Bewirtung, aber auch NaturstrÀnde). Restaurants und GeschÀfte sind ebenfalls in der NÀhe. Empfehlenswert!

Mooie woning met een groot terras met fenomenaal uitzicht op zee. Elke avond genieten van een prachtige zonsondergang. Lieflijk strandje en eettentjes op 3 minuten afstand (met de auto). Eleni is een prima gastvrouw en heel gastvrij.

Beautiful stay in Kitries

We had lovely time in this stone cottage near the village of Kitries. The view overlooking the bay was simply breathtaking. Our host Elena was very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was surrounded by a lovely garden and it was nice to eat outside. We would recommend this to anybody who would like to have a peaceful stay in very authentic setting.
