Breakfast and staff that morning were good. The room was subpar-strange smell, awful towels, dirty/stained tub, overall feeling of not so clean room. The tv was so horrible and the picture was blurry. Super disappointed in this choice

The check in person was cold and kind of rude. He kept talking over me like he had to get through his speech regardless of if i had questions. I asked if there was anything gluten free offered during the breakfast and he was very rude about it. I get if you dont know but seems like he could have tried to find answers for me. The room looked okay but the beds were creaky and lumpy. The pillows were really bad. The walls were thick enough that we didnt hear neighbors but the door was paper thin and we could hear a mouse fart in the hall. The floors must also be thin becausw we heard every step and thrust made in the room above us. The ac was also very loud. So not a great experience. The breakfast was great though and did in fact have lots of items that were gluten free.

Comfort Inn West Plains, MO

When we arrived the door to our room was wide open. I just casually looked around and it appeared as though staff had left the room in the middle of cleaning it. The bathroom in particular looked not finished for cleaning. The toilet lid was completely detached also. I let the front desk know right away, but no staff came to “fix” the issue. In the morning staff came in to change trashes, check toiletries, and replace used towels. The toilet lid was not touched. I let the front desk know that the lid had not been reattached. I did try to fix it myself, but was unable. Later that day the toilet was not flushing properly and we noticed water was coming out the bottom. I again informed the front desk after packing all of our things, because we already knew we couldn’t stay in that room. We were asked to shut the water valve off so the toilet did not continue leaking, so we did. Then we had to go to the desk to get a new room. We did not have any issues when changing rooms, very grateful for that. I would definitely say the amount we paid to stay for 3 nights was worth it. The staff was welcoming, you get free breakfast, and there’s a pool and exercise room. This is my 3rd or 4th time staying and I would again.

This hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was friendly. The room was nice and very comfortable. The pool was clean however not as nice in person as the photos made it seem. My only complaint is there is a strong perfume odor throughout the whole hotel it would be nicer if it smelled clean instead of perfumy. Breakfast was standard hotel fare decent but nothing fantastic.
