Lake front with dock & covered slip on Lake Hartwell. The Reese Retreat!

Your cozy getaway awaits on Lake Hartwell at this amazing house. With 2 queen beds in 2 bedrooms and 2 & 1/2 bathrooms. This tranquil retreat offers a tremendous living room with 2 sofa beds with toppers for extra space. We supply linens; towels and sheets and washer and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen has pots and pans, dishes, a Keurig coffee maker and a regular coffee maker and a slow cooker. We have wine glasses and opener.
We have games for adults and children and lake towels for swimming. We have WI-FI and TV service. Enjoy the fire pit in the yard. Horse shoe games is out there also. The First Aid Kit is on open shelf near the kitchen.
Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at our place. We do ask you NOT TO SMOKE, Thank You. Check in is 4PM and check out is 12 noon. This gives housekeeping time to clean between renters. Your pets are welcome, we do ask you put pillow cases or towels on the beds and /or the furniture to keep hair off of them, Again, thank you. The location is beautiful and the house is nice. It's unfortunate that it has not been cleaned well. There were dark hairs on the sheets of both beds, a lot of the windows were dirty with smudges/smears and there were multiple areas that need dusting and vacuuming. There are some safety hazards as well like loose bricks on the bottom of the steps. With a really good deep clean and regular maintenance this could easily be a five star stay. Overall we enjoyed our time at the lake but as a former cleaner myself I was very disappointed about that.

Wonderful, peaceful and welcoming home. Reese Retreat is as soothing as a visit to grandma's. The lake is very relaxing and quiet. The road is a bit winding and long so you will want to hit the grocery store first. We had a very nice stay.

Like a weekend at grandma’s

This is a wonderful property on the shores of Lake Hartwell. Immediately upon walking in, the house was cozy, inviting, and felt like home. The decor and dishes all drip with charm. If you are looking for peaceful relaxation with a gracious host, this is the place.
