Noisy. Sound travelled between rooms. Eliptical in fitness centre was broken

Hotel staff were continually cleaning! If a guest came in with muddy footwear the floor was cleaned immediately! Staff was friendly and cheerful!

I tried to get a room on a higher floor as I dislkke ground flore rooms but was refused

I apologize for the desk agent not moving you to another floor as we mostly certainly can accommodate all of our guest requests. You did book your room online and can make the request in the comments when booking as well. I will assure you this was just a training issue and I will have this matter rectified immediately.
