I always enjoy Settlers even though it has been in Whangarei for many years. The rooms are still comfortable but road noise can be loud but dies down at night. Food and service was good and I enjoyed dinners in my room. I would certainly stay here again.

They rooms were perfect. We had a great night. Some of us walked and the walkers took their time but we asked for the key to unlock the room. Staff were pleasant and very helpful

Needs a refurb

Hadn't stayed there for years so it was a bit of a surprise to see how it's aged. The rooms are quite dark and no Aircon. Rooms on the road side are traffic noisy so beware. Beds are comfy. The food is pretty good and the staff helpful and it's catering more for the regularly tradies who stay there than holiday travellers

Convenient and comfortable

A great option in Whangarei as it is not in the centre of town although it's very close to the Town Basin. Surrounded by lots of lawn and trees. Great service and a reasonable restaurant. Comfortable room and a good shower.
