The bright and centrally-located Stoney Creek Northstar complex is a Whistler favourite for very good reason. There's no need for a car as everything Whistler has to offer is just a few minutes walk away. The complex itself offers free underground parking and access to a great year-round pool and hot tub area.
Within this freshly renovated condo, you'll enjoy all the comforts of home including an open concept fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, private ground floor patio area and ski storage area. The master bedroom has a Queen sized bed and there is a sofa sleeper in the living room. Northstar #8 is approximately 650 sq/ft so there is plenty of room to relax after a fun filled day exploring the mountains.
This property is professionally managed with 24/7 in-resort guest support. It includes free wireless internet, a digital cable television package and free underground parking.
Everything was as advertised, comfortable, clean accommodation. Location was perfect , bus stop across the road to Whistler base and grocery store /marketplace shops also across the road . Would highly recommend.

It is very nice property, proper designed, lots of cooking stuff, Close to pool, hot tub and market. But not 300m to base of ski area, more than 1000m, needs a lot of walk to base.
My husband, five year old daughter and I had an amazing week in Whistler staying at this beautifully renovated condo. It was impeccably clean and had all the kitchen utensils we needed. The wifi and cable were great! The location was absolutely perfect and we didnât need to drive for the entire week we were there. We canât wait to go back!
We enjoyed our week-long stay in this unit at North Star. We stayed at North Star during our first trip to Whistler, stayed someplace else the second trip, and returned to North Star for our third trip. We plan on staying at North Star again next year as well. The unit was absolutely SPOTLESS when we arrived, and the kitchen was well appointed. There were even some leftover spices, oils, etc. in the pantry. Definitely check in before going to the grocery store so that you do not duplicate what is already there. For example, there was a whole pack of coffee filters in the unit and multiple containers of salt and pepper, both of which we purchased before arriving. The unit also included enough toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, trash bags, and dish soap for the week. I also enjoyed the deep bathtub and rain shower head/detachable shower head combo and the heated bathroom floor, and the wide selection of cable TV channels.
The location of this unit is superb. It's very close to the check-in office and the circle/parking garage entrance, so transporting our luggage and gear from the car to the unit was very easy. The grocery store is also right across the street, and the liquor store is in the same shopping center as the grocery store. The gondolas are technically walkable, but it's a long walk. We took the free shuttle across the street when we hit the slopes.
My only complaint was similar to other reviewers: the bed was quite uncomfortable. It should DEFINITELY be replaced.
