You'll never want to leave this ideally located Montana condo with great shared amenities, including a swimming pool, a hot tub, and a sauna!

Whitefish Lake is just half a block away, offering easy access to fishing, swimming, and boating. There's 600 feet of private beach, and if you're bringing a boat along, boat slips are available for small HOA and registration fees. Heading into town is easy from here - it's less than two miles to the shops and restaurants.

A gas fireplace warms the air as you unwind to a cable marathon on return emails over the free WiFi. The cheery, open kitchen has everything you need to make excellent meals for your party, including a dishwasher. Eat inside at the dining table or head outside to the deck, where you'll find a grill and patio furniture.

Six guests will have a blast at this condo. The bedroom downstairs has two queen beds, and there is a king in the bedroom upstairs. Two full bathrooms and a washer and dryer help keep you feeling fresh and clean.

Downtown Whitefish is just a short walk away. Buy tickets at to the Glacier Symphony and Chorale, then have a nightcap at one of the microbreweries or micro-distilleries in the area. Try one of the region's popular huckleberry beverages!

THINGS TO KNOW
The pool/hot tub building is closed from the beginning of April until around May 20th of each year.
This property is managed by David Wilson of Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Montana LLC, license #PMP-RPM-LIC-118717

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Dock details: All boats, trailers, and personal watercraft on Bay Point property must be registered with the Bay Point HOA manager before launching. This is done with a phone call to the HOA manager. Boat slips are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please use only the boat slip assigned to you. All boats and personal watercraft must be secured in a boat slip at night. For safety no boats or watercraft are allowed to be left overnight tied to the day docks for any reason. All boats and watercraft must be secured for the night in the assigned boat slip. Boat trailers are stored off property. HOA manager will assist with boat trailer storage location.




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Well equipped kitchen. We needed to take the batteries out of the tv remote to put in the home thermostat so we could have heat. We were probably the first guests since summer so that's understandable. Had no code to use hot tub/pool and the wifi password that was left in the property was incorrect. All of this info is for owner's checkup. Otherwise we loved this place. Beds were comfy, kitchen easy to use. Clean bathrooms with plenty of towels.

Great location but the place is just “ok”. Has an old smell but this resolved with opening the windows and sliding glass door. Kitchen light didn’t work so we cooked early or cooked in the dark. Other light flickered and we made jokes it was haunted. Dried vomit was on the carpet in the upstairs bedroom but it didn’t smell so that is good. Mystery stains on the couches again this made us laugh. Dishwasher works but the cleaning tablet didn’t dissolve which explains the dried food on some of the dishes. We just washed the dishes before and after meals. The back door doesn’t lock but it is high off the ground so there were no safety concerns. Beds slept good and the shower pressure is amazing. Loved the shampoo products and the washing machine and dryer worked great. Would I rent again? YES. Because of the price. All other 2 bedroom rentals were much more expensive and this location is perfect for exploring whitefish and glacier.

Not worth the money

Property is incredibly worn out. Walls are dirty, furniture is old and uncomfortable. The oven made our whole family nauseous as it smoked and smelled of chemicals, there are burn marks on the oven door. The owner needs to do some serious maintenance

In need of some TLC

The positives about the property were the location, the fireplace worked well, the washer/dryer were newer and nice and the bed was comfortable. The disadvantages for us were the lack of adequate lighting, the bathroom sink didn't work, the bedroom carpet was in need of replacement due to stains, and the hot tub/pool didn't open until 10:00 a.m. and was closed two of the three days we were there (one for a Canadian holiday)..

Perfect location

The lay out of this place was perfect for both times we have stayed there. My husband and I stayed on the main floor while our guests were able to stay very comfortably downstairs. Everyone had privacy. We were very close to Whitefish as well as Kalispell where we both had family. It was like a Disney movie set outside when we went in October. There were deer that we could feed apples to from the apple tree down the path, and birds would that eat out of our hand on the balcony. They were also very nice about letting us know that the place was ready for early check in. We enjoyed it enough to stay twice!

Pleasant but not top notch

Great location and all the basics are there. There were a few disappointments but maybe my expectations are too high. The carpet in the upstairs bedroom was stained in multiple places. There was no soap, shampoo or hair dryer which are things I thought were standard nowadays. Also there is no easy way to turn on the lights upstairs when you first come in. This was quite cumbersome because I initially arrived after sunset.

Worse cabin ever

This was my worst VRBO thus far. The pictures were VERY deceiving, We thought we were right on the lake but we were not. The place was dirty, lights don’t work. Furniture was WAY oversized for the property. The carpet was disgusting.

Needs Update

The location was super convenient however it is in need of a update. It felt a bit dingy and dusty. The bedding/pillows seemed dirty with stains and hair and items left behind from previous visitor(ie dirty laundry). There are no amenities so it is bare bones so if you plan on cooking be prepared to bring/buy utensils and ALL ingredients. There also was only a paper on the fridge with rules but no other information about property/area so you kind of are on your own with that (where we are allowed on the property/ how to access beach) . A management property runs it so you are in contact with them but for me it was too much texting from their side and also they request you use their website for help/info when I feel like I would prefer to just use VRBO.

Nice unit with a good location

We only ended up staying two nights instead of the three that we booked as both of our husbands got called back to work with not much notice. It was a littler disappointing that we offered to pay more in order to push it back a few weeks when the husbands would have been off again but they have a no change policy even with the offer that we pay more. So that put a bit if a damper on the stay. For that reason we would look elsewhere for accommodation when we come down as we come down on a regular basis. The unit itself was nice , very well equipped. It could use a good paint job and the patio furniture is a bit rough. It was also nice and quiet so we had a nice stay. Thank you

Unacceptably Filthy

The review should be able to be read on the Vacasa site as we wrote it there. Vacasa was reasonable to work with when we discussed issues with the cleanliness and offered us a partial refund. We assumed the reviews written prior were due to an off week of the cleaning crew, or something, and unfortunately were wrong. The location and convenience were fantastic for our needs on this vacation, but we will not be staying here again due to how filthy this apartment was.

Let me start out on a positive note. The location and the ease of access to this unit was superb! Now it goes south quick
..the cleanliness of this unit was more than ridiculous. It was down right disgusting. One of the beds in the basement was completely broke and one corner was on the floor, so we took matters into our own hands and got a rock to prop the corner off of the floor. The other bed was about to break in the middle. The carpets were stained, not vacuumed and the end table downstairs had so much dust on it, I wrote DUST in it with my finger. The downstairs sink took a while to drain and I’m not going to mention the bathroom floor. I will say that we slept good in the beds and the downstairs was the cleanest of the entire unit. Upstairs: I think that someone tried to make s’mores in the fireplace but neglected to remove the screen so yeah
that was nice. We had to take a AAA battery from one of our headsets to put in the thermostat because it showed “battery needs to be replaced”. There was only one light bulb in the kitchen area and it was covered in so much dust the stove light emitted more light than the whole fixture. The bathroom
..just gross, we had to sweep the floor in order to continue to feel clean when we got out of the shower. The main bedroom , the bed was comfy but the pet hair on the main dresser was a head scratcher since NO PETS ARE ALLOWED
. Again..dusting or vacuuming must not be in the cleaning companies contract. We went to make coffee and pulled out a cup with a coffee ring still in it, so obviously we felt the need to wash everything we were going to use before we used it. The utensil drawers were filled with crumbs from many many guests past.đŸ€ą. One last thing
don’t look under the kitchen sink
.just don’t. We made the most of it and it was a last minute place to stay but NEVER AGAIN. This place could be awesome with some TLC and cleaning company that actually cleaned. I’m not so sure the Management Company shouldn’t also be dinged for this. I contacted them and got a few different people, all telling me to ENJOY my stayâ€ŠđŸ€ŠđŸŒâ€â™€ïž

Bachelorette Party in Whitefish

My friends and I stayed here while having our friend's Bachelorette Party. The location was great and the condo was very spacious. It was great to have two decks and living rooms, even though we really only used one. Having two bathrooms for 6 girls was also super helpful. It was unclear where the main buildings were in the area since we were left with no map. It was also unclear where we had access to the water, but overall it was a great stay!

Perfect place to stay for our family

The location Of this condo was perfect! We could walk to the lake and everything was cozy and well set up. The only thing I would say is the carpets were pretty dirty in the bedrooms and the blinds in the upstairs bedroom were broken so we had to figure out how to keep them up for privacy. But other than those two issues, it was a fabulous spot to spend our week!

Great bones, but needs some TLC

Beautiful location and view, but the place was really dirty. Great bones, but there were stained cushions, carpets, and walls. The cleaning service completely failed in this age of COVID. Disposable face mask under a bed, dirty pots in the cupboards, damp towels folded in the bathrooms, and the tub and showers hadn't even been wiped down (I'll spare you the details). The carpeted stairs had not been vacuumed and the kitchen floor wasn't cleaned. And the amount of old dust-you could tell it wasn't just a one time bad clean. Thank goodness I packed a bottle of Clorox. We did contact the manager and they offered to come back in and clean, but I had already done it myself. We were told the cleaning fee would be credited, but as yet, it still hasn't. On the other hand, the beds were comfy, and we got good use out of the deck and grill. I've never had to leave a bad review before on either VRBO or Airbnb, but I wish we had been warned about this property.
