Wiesmoor is located in the center of East Frisia and was only created 100 years ago. Thanks to the peat extraction and the settling of garden centers, Wiesmoor has become a real flower city! Magnificent gardens adorn the whole place today. Sights such as the moor colonies, the flower hall, the Otter Sea, gardening visits, the annual flower festival and. a. are worth a trip. For sports enthusiasts, Wiesmoor has a lot to offer, here there are tennis courts, the indoor pool, Ottermeer beach, a golf course, horse riding and more. The proximity to the North Sea and the much cheaper prices also make Wiesmoor an excellent holiday experience.
