All " no's" at this hotel
Stayed last week at 't klooster and was not impressed. Paid rack rate for a room with no phone, no face cloths, dirty floors, dirty looking pool the size of a postage stamp.
We asked if late check out of 1.5 hours was possible, was told yes, but on checking out they wanted to charge for this!
This hotel was a good 20 minute walk into town centre and in the heat was not particularly pleasant.

Pros:The courtyard - I could lounge out there reading under an umbrella all day.
Cons:Only complaint I had with the room was the foam mattress could use a flip. One side was sagging a lot compared to the other.
My stay of 11 days was great all around. The staff was pleasant to interact with at all times and was responsive to any requests. My room, while small, was more than adequate for a single person. With 2 it might be a bit tight, especially if both are trying to get changed or use the bathroom. The large courtyard in the middle of the hotel was a fantastic place to lounge, though be sure to bring your mosquito spray. While breezes would come in, they weren't enough to blow out the mosquitoes, so they could be annoying at times. The location of the hotel puts it just a short walk from many historical sites of downtown Willemstad and there are numerous restaurants and clubs nearby. I also greatly enjoyed the food at the attached restaurant Blessing. While the menu is limited, both with food and alcohol, it was top notch all around. I'll definitely be staying there again if/when I come back.

Thank you very much for leaving us your review. We are very happy to hear that you've enjoyed our courtyard, the location of the hotel and the restaurant.
We are aware of the condition of some of our matrasses. We are ordering new ones, so they will be exchanged shortly.
As for the mosquitos, indeed in the rain season there are many mosquitos on the island. We try to minimize them by having special buckets from pest-control in our courtyard. These ensure that they will not to be able to transmit diseases and worsens the conditions for them to procreate.

Excellent value, good friendly service, nice location and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our stay!
Pros:Free Internet, Quiet
If we were to visist Curacao again thsi would be our choice it was a good already option, the Bistro was also very nice, we liked the live music played Friday night!
