Welcome to Ciesta Sands, a luxury villa on one of the most famous white sandy beaches. From the moment you enter the front door and gaze upon the Tropic of Cancer Beach you will know that you found true Bahamian paradise.

Located beachfront on "Tropic of Cancer Beach", overlooking a large sandy beach and translucent blue-green waters. One of the top 5 beaches in the Bahamas.

This villa features 4 distinguished bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite. You will be transfixed as soon as you walk into the home as you gaze beyond the infinity pool and take in the natural beauty of the sparkling sea. Welcome to Ciesta Sands!

Accommodating up to 8 adults and 6 children- The villa has a large great room, kitchen, eating area with a bar that spills out onto the outdoor patio and gazebo- overlooking the pool and beach. Ciesta Sands is all about the water so you will be able to take full advantage with an infinity edge heated pool, water toys, floats, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and snorkel gear. The outdoor entertainment area has everything you need with chaise lounges, swings, gazebo with outdoor dining and sitting areas.

When you are ready to hit the sand a private staircase brings you down to one of the most beautiful beaches. The beach is over a mile long with sand and water like no other.

If you want to spend time indoors you won't give up the view with the huge great room that opens up to the spacious kitchen equipped for all the culinary creations you have in mind. The dining table seats 12 and the island seats 6. There is a bar, wine/drink fridge and ice maker.

Just lovely ! As other reviewers have said this property is even better in person. Well appointed with everything we needed. The beds are so comfortable, pillows and bedding as well. It was quite windy on Exuma for the first 4 days of our stay but TOC beach was one of the least windy and that combined with spring break brought a few more people to the beach, but that honestly was not a problem with only about at the most 30 people there at any given time, and the beach is a mile long. Once the wind died down and people dispersed to other beaches there were maybe a handful out on the beach at any time. The pool got more use on those windy days. Brea’s Bar & Grill is close by and is a fun place to have an afternoon drink. Smaller than the name suggests Very good communication with both the owner and Esther the house manager. We had a couple of issues which Esther attended to swiftly. she is a treasure ! We would love to return

Ciesta Sands is an outstanding pick for a private, semi-secluded island getaway. The home is exceptionally well-appointed, combining comfort with utility. Credit the host with thinking of everything. Whatever we needed was already in the house. It felt much more like a tasteful lived-in, cared-for home than a generic vacation rental. We're more accustomed to nice hotels/resorts when we travel, but this time we wanted something quieter, more isolated, fewer people (especially on the beach). This location delivers, without being so out of the way that it requires a second flight or boat ride to reach. Reasonable minds might debate the best beaches in the world, but after experiencing the Tropic of Cancer Beach, no one would exclude it from the conversation. The water is astonishing. The natural beauty at Ciesta Sands is absurd.Surprising highlight: there's a tiny beach shack next door where Sandy and sister Jackie make killer grilled chicken sandwiches, and sweet tropical cocktails. Thanks for the great week in paradise.

Ciesta Sands is an exceptionally well-appointed and equipped home, with a magnificent view of the water. The owner's thoughtful attention to detail and her care in anticipating the needs of her guests made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Christine (owner) was very easy to work with, and Esther (property manager) was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The beach bar next door was being renovated during our stay, but would likely be a fun touch for folks seeking a nearby lunch option. The in-home meal prepared by Chef Glory was a fabulous treat.

If you’re considering renting this house - DO IT! This is probably the best rental house we’ve ever stayed in. It is fully stocked with everything you need. The beds are super comfy! The setup is absolute perfection. But what stands out the most is the most amazing view you will ever see in your life. Waking up everyday and looking out the back windows - absolute perfection! Between the house, the pool, the kayaks & paddleboards, etc. you literally won’t ever want to leave. I’ve never wanted to stay somewhere more! And Christine was the most fabulous host! You won’t regret it, 100% recommend!

Just book it! Trust me. This home was exceptionally stunning. It was immaculately clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. From beach chairs, pool floats, skim boards, bean bag toss, life jackets, kayaks and SUP boards, to 5 different ways to make coffee, every kitchen appliance, crazy comfortable beds, and so so much space. But the best was the view. We couldn’t stop staring. This was a perfect vacation for our two families. Thank you Ciesta Sands for the easy communication and incredible attention to detail. The perfect family friendly spring break!

We had an incredible stay at Siesta Sands on the stunning Tropic of Cancer Beach in Little Exuma. The beach was pristine, with powdery sand and crystal-clear water. We felt completely at ease letting the kids play. The kids loved exploring the little islands nearby via kayak, especially one they named "Snail Island" for its abundance of snails. The house layout was perfect for two families, and the kitchen was impeccably stocked, even better than ours at home. We enjoyed some home-cooked meals, and Chef Tevin prepared a wonderful grilled fish dinner one night that everyone, even the picky kids, loved. Our half-day tour with Valentino from Only Sands Charters was unforgettable, especially seeing the pigs, iguanas, and searching for sand dollars. The house manager, Esther, was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. The kids adored the bunk room, which added an extra layer of fun to their experience. This stay was truly special, and we can't wait to return!

Ciesta Sands was a beautiful house and property. The house was well laid out, comfortable, and high end. The property is very private on a quiet beach, with beautiful islands within kayak distance. The islands made the view from the house very unique and special. They had everything we needed, including double laundry, ice machine, and all the beach toys you could imagine. Bedding, towels, throw blankets were all super comfortable. The house manager was super attentive and helpful. Also walkable to a beach burger hut, so you don’t have to cook if you don’t want to!

AMAZING HOME

Our family of 4 and our best friends family of 6 went rented this house to celebrate both our 20 year anniversary! Logistically a little bit of a pain to get to, but once you get there all your traveling issues go away! The home was a magazine home and the beach/ocean was the best we been to and it was right out your door. We've been to some nice places, but this water color tops them all. If you are looking for a great place to relax and get away from the busyness of life....look no further!

Island Girls Vacay 2025

10 STAR property that doesn't disappoint!!! From the moment you open the front door, you're in PARADISE!! By far the best island rental we've stayed in. The stunning views are mesmerizing with the turquoise ocean right outside your door. The house has everything you ever needed and more. Ester the property manager is fantastic and offers a world of knowledge for things to do & see while there. Owner Christine is extremely responsive & communicative. A newer and well designed and decorated beachfront villa that suited our family of 7 adults very well. Tropic of Cancer beach is steps away, with beautiful white sand and aquamarine waters. Vistas are breathtaking. Takes a bit more effort to reach, but that effort is rewarded by a secluded beach and relative privacy (apart from the occasional limited noise or activity given the proximity of the nearby public beach access). A highly memorable stay.

The decor and design of the home made us feel like we were in the Hamptons. The home is beautiful, well appointed, clean, and perfectly located. The beach is beautiful, and accessing the islands the kayaks and paddleboards was a big highlight for all of us. Awesome stay, our favorite house in Exuma.

Unforgettable Paradise: My 40th Birthday at Ciesta Sands!

Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! Our 6-day, 5-night stay at Ciesta Sands in Exuma was pure magic. I celebrated my 40th birthday with 9 of my closest friends, and this house was perfect—spacious, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds are like laying on a cloud. The house manager was incredible, always available to help and made everything so easy for us.A must-do tip: Rent a car! The house is off the beaten path, and while the roads are dirt and bumpy, it only added to the adventure. Having a car gave us the freedom to explore the island at our own pace. After booking, you’ll get a helpful guide with tips for activities and dining.We had two fantastic chefs—Chef Keva and Chef Tevin—each prepare dinner for us one night, and the food was amazing! For brunch, Dena’s Donuts catered a fresh, delicious spread on two mornings that was the perfect start to our day.We ate at a few spots on the island, but Blu was our favorite. The food and atmosphere were top-notch—definitely a must-visit.We also booked Exuma Massage for a day of yoga and massages—one of the best massages I’ve ever had!A highlight was booking a private full-day excursion with Robert’s Island Adventures. We swam with sharks, visited the famous pigs, and explored beautiful cays—a must-do!And the VIEW—breathtaking and unreal! Kayak to the nearby island one day. Ciesta Sands is more than just a place to stay; it’s a memory-making paradise. Book it now—you won’t regret it!
