This place is a joke. Do not stay here. 1st. The air conditioning did not work properly. We had to turn it to cold cold to get it to work. air blew constantly. 2nd. there was no real blanket on the bed or in the room. 3rd. I went to call front desk and the phone in the room did not work. 4th. I went down to the front desk 3 times. No one there all night. no assistance at all. 5th. continental breakfast area closed in the morning. A baged breakfast was what you get and only if you asked for one. coffee machine and creamer not maintained. 6th. pool cold cold cold no heat used at all. (indoors) 7th. went to use jaccuzi tub second night. Did not work at all. 8th. No one around to get any assistance from. girl at desk hardly spoke english. this was the most ridiculous stay Ive ever experienced. turned our romantic weekend into a joke. we are both sick from air conditioning and no blanket. 0 ☆s.

We are very sorry about all the troubles you seemed to have at our property. 1).Our ac units are not climate controlled nor are not advertised as such. 2). All of our front desk agents speak English as they are all Americans.3).The night audit person is around the hotel doing jobs there is a number listed at the desk for you to call if you need assistance. 4).A bagged breakfast is what we advertise on our website so when booking this hotel that should have not been a surprise. 5).If you needed additional blankets you could have asked the front desk we keep some there. 6). Breakfast bags are on the front desk for guest to just GRAB and GO. I hope that clears a few things up for anyone that has any questions about your review. Have a wonderful day.

First and last time staying at a HOJO!

On our arrival we noticed the hotel appeared very run down. We found out the free breakfast was a bagged piece of fruit and a granola bar. The Resturant had been closed for a while. We stayed in room 329. Once entering the room I noticed the entrance light inside the room was not working and missing a light bulb and really filthy. Makes you somewhat nervous entering a dark hotel room. There were water stains on the ceiling in the hallway entrance of the room next to the bathroom and above the hot tub in our room. THERE WAS NO SMOKE DETECTOR! It had been removed and not replaced. The ventilation fan in the bathroom did not work. The toilet rocked back and forth. The indoor pool was closed they said due to a heater malfunction. It looked abandoned for years. That would have been nice to know as this was one of the reasons I chose to come here on our 27th anniversary trip. The hot tub jets only halfway worked on one side of the tub. This was my first and last time staying at a HOJO. This hotel is total false advertisement and doesn't even need to be advertised on Hotels.com!

We advertise a grab and go breakfast which contains a juice or water a muffin a cookie an apple a granola bar a bacon egg and cheese jimmy dean biscuit and a yogurt. We are very sorry and will look into any complaints that you may have put in at the front desk and see why the situation was not rectified,

I was put in a smoking room by accident and the entire hall smelled of pot, i went to call down to tell them and the phone didn t work, i went back to the elevator to go back down and the elevator didn t work, had to walk down 4 flights of stairs. I m only staying tomorrow because i m already here..new floor and room is better
