Jo was so friendly during check-in. The room is beautiful and unique. I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

No sound isolation/insulation

The room itself was fine. Bed was fine, furniture was fine(although more tables/ surfaces would've been nice - no place to put things) TV is little too small, esp way up on top of the closet in the corner. But i wish the room had more sound absorption/isolation in the ceiling / floor above. we could hear everything that was going on in the room above us, rolling suitcases, sneezing, talking, walking.. it was too much... And also hall outside our room, we could hear people talking, rolling suitcases. I'm reasonable but the sound that traveled between rooms was little much. I expected more 'comfort' more relaxing /luxurious atmosphere at Wedmore. i expected little more privacy in our room.

Good but not great, but has potential!

I arrived at the Wedmore and got the key for my room that I booked. When I entered my room it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. As each room is individually themed I booked a warm and cozy looking room. Since the cleaning staff was gone for the day, I was given another room. This room was far from warm feeling, it was like a war room with swords on the wall. It was next to the elevator and the HVAC units. It was loud! There was mold in the bathroom, corrosion all over the sink pipes, and the bath tub did not drain properly, The robes were were old and the pillows were not comfortable (though that is personal choice). The in-room safe was locked. That was the negative items. The room had no mini fridge and no ironing board. Not a negative, but not a plus. Tavern was only open until mid-afternoon during the weekdays. The gym looked like a home gym. The breakfast was good but only limited to the quiche of the day, pastries and some drinks. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Overall, I expected a little more out of the Wedmore. I will give this hotel another try as the potential is there.
