My experience at this hotel was the worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel to say the least. do I stay at the Courtyard Marriott and Brandywine Wilmington I had the worst encounter with the front desk employee Marsha. Marsha came up very very rude from the time that I came into the facility until the night that she left from her shift. on arrival for my stay during check-in I spoke with Marsha and explained to her that I was looking to have a room with the balcony which I already spoke with someone prior to arriving who told me that there was plenty balcony rooms available Marsha told me there was none. Further into my stay we noticed that there were a lot of kids in the hot tub so we weren’t able to enjoy it instead we decided to sit outside and relax on deck to get a little cool air and relax. At the time I wasn’t aware that the pool closed at 8 PM I was just waiting for the kids to leave so that I can use the pool. Once 8 PM came I noticed Marsha coming in to the pool area with an older white gentleman who I later got to know as Frank. at the time we didn’t go back inside we can we stayed outside until we were ready to go back to join Frank in the hot tub because now we were thinking the Jacuzzi stays open after 8 PM because Frank is indulging in a late night swim. We came inside Frank invited me and my friend to join him inside the Jacuzzi. before I can even step foot and Jacuzzi the door swings open and Marsha comes in yelling saying that we have to leave.

No USB, bed was facing the window/parking lot. TV too low and small. No creamer or sugar for the coffee. No free breakfast.

The stay was good in a quiet safe area. The issues I experienced were that there were black skid-like marks on the sheets of one bed, and on check out I was waiting for a receipt, but the staff member was on a call and unable to produce a receipt at the time. After waiting a while, I finally asked for it to be sent via email and I have yet to receive a receipt, but I have received several surveys.

While the hotel is renovating rooms and floors one at a time, they are still putting guests in old rooms at the same rate ($$ per night). Our room was one of the old ones, and so dirty. Missing its full length mirror (only the rod and nails in the wall remained), cracking paint and stains on the walls, stains on the carpet, flickering dingy lighting. Just dirty. My mother and father in law stayed in a renovated room and had a good experience. I am glad they got one of the new rooms. I was terribly disappointed with my experience in the old, dingy, unkept room, at the same $$ rate as the renovated room, and would never stay at this hotel again if I didn't know one day the room I stayed in would be renovated (and hopefully actually cleaned properly.)

Construction started early this morning with no warning. They say construction warnings are on the website but I don't see it.

Sleep Over with the grands

The stay was great.My grandkids had a great time in the hot tub and the pool ,Lots of Restaurants in walking distance.!Mall across the street. if you don’t want to go out theyserve food there . the chip Ken sandwich was great The customer service was the best.You were greeted with a smile as the door I Irecommend this hotel.
