Welcome to the heart of downtown Wilmington, NC! This loft is privately tucked upstairs in the historic Shrier building with so much within walking distance:

Steps to coffee, coworking, shopping, and dining
1 block from the Wilmington Riverwalk
2 blocks to Cape Fear Community College
5 min walk to the Convention Center
15 min walk to the Live Oak Bank Pavilion
3 miles to Battleship NC
7 miles to the University of Wilmington
20 minute drive to Wrightsville Beach, 30 minutes to Carolina Beach!

The space
You will love the contrast of being right in the center of downtown while being able to walk up to a completely private loft with all the comforts of home. The walls are 12ft tall, providing such a spacious feel. The original floors give this place quite the charm, and the modern amenities will make you feel right at home. I LOVE the balcony overlooking Front Street. Talk about just sitting back, relaxing, people watching, and being able to enjoy the bustle from above.

Guest access
Entire Place. Quiet hours 10p-8a. No parties. Pets welcome! (I charge a flat fee of $100 just mark that you are bringing your pup and VRBO will automatically add the fee).

No parking spaces for my loft. I park in the lot behind the building ($13/day) and sometimes find street parking right in front . There are several decks around and I just unload in the front (if space allows) and then I move my car. Street parking is free from 6:30pm-9:00am Monday through Saturday and free on Sunday.

There is a walk up! One flight of stairs, no elevator.

Sleeps 6 means: Two beds (one queen, one king) and one queen air mattress. As my spot is so spacious it comfortably sleeps 6. There is a sofa as well which you could always do one on the sofa and one on the air mattress, I guess it would depend on who draws the short straw in your party or who isn't paying haha. Please disclose all overnight guests so we can set up accordingly.

I have a similar unit (more modern in style) exactly adjacent to this unit, within same walk up. If you are booking a bigger party, let me know.

As STR owners ourselves, maintaining a 5star rating requires vigorous attention to detail. Having said that, the location of the loft was spot-on to all that happens downtown. Close enough for an easy walk anywhere but far enough from the nightlife a good nights rest was easy. This was easily the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed and would highly recommend.

Charming Wilmington Condo with Balcony

Very spacious, second floor condo with balcony. The host was very thoughtful in all the little things you would need while away from home. Very comfortable living room furniture and tv subscriptions with all the channels needed for watching college football. We spent our mornings drinking coffee and evenings with a cocktail out on the balcony, our favorite spot. Coffee shop, Java Dog, around the corner and could easily walk to our favorite restaurants — Copper Penny, PinPoint, Circa, and Basic. One of the cleanest VRBOs we’ve stayed in and would definitely book again.

Lovely time

This place was darling. Up to date, dog friendly, cozy, quaint, safe, quiet but not tooo quiet because you could step out on the balcony and watch the lively night life down below. We were there for a wedding on Orange street a few blocks away and Ubers were plentiful . The weather was perfect for august, it was wonderful. Thank you !

Business Comference

Can’t go wrong w this stay. Easy parking. Seamless check-in. Right next to the Riverwalk. All kinds of amenities in the space and the balcony on Front St is a great place to people watch w a drink. Definitely recommended.

Never thought I’d do this . . .

. . . but I’m giving my first PERFECT rating for a vacation stay. This place was IDEAL. A prime location in the midst of the best downtown Wilmington has to offer, within easy walking distance AP of shops, restaurants, pubs & the waterfront. Absolutely loved the old building architecture but equipped with modern & stylish updates. High ceilings, old wood flooring plus with a balcony overlooking the street. A bonus was the Downtown Riverfront Festival, so we could wander up and down the vendor booths, taking purchases back to the apartment and enjoy a glass of wine while people watching. Emanula was a great host, communicating timely and responsive to questions. We’ve stayed in lots of rentals before, but this one is hands down my favorite. Visiting Wilmington was on a whim, but we’re definitely coming back and won’t consider staying anywhere else!

Great spot right downtown!

We had an excellent time staying at this spot. The location is great, so close to bars, restaurants, shopping, and the riverfront. It’s very spacious and dog friendly, which can be hard to find. The property manager was easy to coordinate with and helpful. Highly recommend!

Awesome location and experience

If you want to be a part of downtown Wilmington look no further. Just steps from great places to eat and drink and places for the family to go to as well (Riverwalk, children’s museum, etc). The host was extremely flexible and communicated so efficiently. The loft was very spacious and even had a nice balcony to oversee the street. When we go back to Wilmington this will be the first place we look to see if available.

Amazing place and location!

This condo was exactly what we needed to celebrate Christmas with our son! The location was perfect! The riverwalk is one street away, stores, restaurants, cafes all around, walking distance. We were able to find parking right in front of the apartment for free (2 hrs max during the day and after 6:30 pm and on Sundays) or right behind in the parking lot, max $13 for the day. The apartment had all we needed to put a fantastic holiday dinner in the fully equiped kitchen, toiletries, bedding, towels, blow-dryer, etc. We enjoyed playing records on the turntable. Great selection of music too! Comfy beds, couches. Super clean place! High ceilings were a big plus for us. As well as the prompt and friendly communication with the owner, despite get bedding in Europe in a different time zone for the holidays, Emanuela was prompt in her communication. Overall, we lived the place!
