Close to airport. Free parking. Greeted properly and check in was easy. Room clean, but musty smell. Unplugged the mini fridge because of the noise. Fortunately I didn't have to take a shower, because it took forever to get any hot water... I mean warm water....in the sink. Ice machine out of order. I got what I paid for?

Great value. Very clean (except for 2nd floor carpeting) and safe. few minutes ride to riverwalk and downtown wilmington. interior corridors. coffee in lobby.

The cleanliness of the rugs was horrible, I'm sure they were vacuum but they were so stained I didn't even want to take my shoes off. Everything else was clean but all the rugs need to be changed in this whole place, nothing but stains everywhere even on the stairs, other than that everything else was pretty clean but it just grossed me out

I don’t like to stay at motels because they are low quality, smell bad. And I don’t sleep well knowing it’s a motel ( the smell, the dirtiness or the complex, and the paranoia that cleanliness is not taken seriously). If the “hotel” post made it known that it was a former motel 8 I wouldn’t have stayed there. The room smelled bad like cigar even though it was a non smoking room. The carpet was dirty and stained all over including in the hallway. I was honestly grossed out and scared to sleep there but I got in too late to find another reservation. I considered sleeping in my jacket and over the blankets but I got cold.
