Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. The bar was warm and welcoming with a lovely cosy Christmas feel. Great central location. Clean and well kept room. Thank you Ben and the rest of your team. Marie & Dan

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The bed is so comfortable! A really fun experience.

Beautiful old property and great staff / service but one night is enough! Absolutely tiny rooms and bathrooms - nowhere to get ready / do makeup etc
Perfect for one night city break though !

When i booked this pub for a stay, on the website it stated Breakfast included which I paid, On arrival I received a piece of paper with information on it and it said no breakfast. Breakfast was included in the price, waiting for a refund. The room was freezing, the heating was on full, me and my partner was freezing at night. The shower was dirty, the toilet was dirty. I would not recommend this place.

What a lovely gem! Surprisingly quiet once in the room, despite a busy bar. The room felt sumptuous, it was clean and comfortable with all the expected extras (hot drink making facilities, hairdryer etc) Being older guests we managed the stairs reasonably well but it may not suit those with limited mobility, this is due to the historic nature of the building. Breakfast was not offered at the time we stayed but we found plenty of options nearby. We dined in the pub/inn and found that a very good call, although it is a popular place so noise was a slight issue ( very difficult to hold a conversation) but we accepted that as part of the experience. All in all a positive experience and we would return
