We stayed for 3 nights and felt it was overpriced. The room felt very dated and the carpets and bathroom floor was warped which isn't great and the bathroom was a wet room where water spilled outside of the shower area as the shower curtain did not reach the floor. We resorted to putting towels on the floor to provide a barrier to mitigate water spreading everywhere. The bathroom was however accessible.
The room was also very poorly ventilated, which is ironic considering it was in February and cold outside, which was not helped by the valves on the radiators doing nothing to control the temperature. On the positive side, the room was warm at a cold time of year.
On ths plus side, the breakfast was good although the vegetarian options were limited. In terms of service, this was generally ok but when we did raise some questions about the room we felt we were ignored and it was a waste of time mentioning issues.

Fabulous hotel and perfect location. The breakfast was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place! The location is perfect. We parked right outside our room which was huge and spotless. The breakfast we absolutly delicious.
We would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Great value for money

The building itself is a little tired but to be expected with its age.
We enjoyed breakfast, however myself not being an egg lover there wasn’t much choice for a cooked breakfast that didn’t contain eggs.
Cleanliness could be paid more attention to as we found a few unwanted sights in our bathroom.
However we had a lovely weekend and really enjoyed ourselves.

Conveniently placed, close to Bowness centre. Lovely breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. very reasonable price, recommended, will stay here again when we visit Bowness.
