Perfect hotel for a quick stop

This motel is nothing fancy but it is clean and comfortable, and the owners are really nice. Note: breakfast only consists in coffee and cookies.

Not fancy, older motel. Clean. Aside from the usual fridge, I'm glad it still has microwave (unlike Vegas). Has coffee and breakfast items in office. Pleasant people. Only disappointment this time around was that it's ice machine wasn't working. It is one of my regular stops on my biannual trips.

I am so sorry about the ice machine. Since it is outside it is almost impossible to insulate the plumbing for it and we certainly can't replace it every year, hence we turn it off in the winter. I keep putting a sign up saying that ice is available in the office, but it keeps disappearing. I truly am so very sorry. Have a great day and we hope to see you again, very soon.

Fairly good accommodations

Overall good hotel, but pretty bare bones. The room was not quiet, so I could hear snoring next to me and guests above me walking around in my room. It is an OK value for its location and price, but the facilities were a little old. However, the staff were courteous and attentive.

We were given a warm welcome and they worked with us on location of the room! Very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and SMELLED clean unlike some rooms that just smell old and like a run down hotel. We are very happy with this site.

More attention to a clean environment.

My stay at this motel has always been good. I will say that the floor should be mopped better. I spilled something and when I wiped it up, the towel was very dirty.

Pet fee: $11.80, paid on arrival. Doorbell at the front desk did not seem to work. After trying it twice, I stepped back outside and used the other doorbell. Room 103: Building has a hot water issue, so you need to run the sink and shower on hot to pull hot water. But, the shower head is awful in that room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Overall, not great

I am sorry you were not happy with your stay. The "bell" you thought you were ringing was our motion detector. When the button was pushed it paused the detector so I didn't know you were here. I am sorry you were not happy. have a great day.

I was billed twice for $89.60 for one night at the Scottish Inn. I have called the front numerous times asking for a credit or refund. Each time, the desk clerk says she will get it fixed. Several weeks after I stayed there, I still haven't received a refund.

Dear Mr. Ewing, As I tried to explain to you, it doesn't show up in my system. I honestly thought it had been taken care of when I voided the sale. Apparently when I voided it, the payment had already been processed so all it did was void it out of our system, it didn't void the transaction from being processed, as I had originally thought. When I called you back, and again you did not answer I left a message explaining I thought it had been voided and asked you to call me back. Instead you felt you had to complain to the community at large instead of returning a call, so we could figure this out. Again, I am sorry for the confusion, but you have received a full refund of the overcharge, and I am sorry about the mistake.

Older motel which still provides a microwave along with fridge, as well as, a nice larger t.v. with lots of channels. Clean and neat with friendly staff. The manager (Chris) is very welcoming. I travel frequently and this is one of my go to stop overs. At one of the lowest prices in town, what puts them above and beyond is that they offer breakfast goodies; and, I love their large cups for coffee! They also give a free drink coupon for a nearby place. Highly recommend. God bless and safe journeys :)
