Perfect little spot for about eight people or less. Home was very clean and had everything we needed. Communication between the owners and myself was great.Location was great for getting food and especially a trip to the popular bakery! Would definitely recommend and if we needed a place to stay in Winona another time; we would select this home Again. It’s very warm and inviting and has been updated in the kitchen and bathrooms and has kept its beautiful wood features and built-ins. Highly recommend.

We were in town for our son's vows ceremony at Holt Angels Novitiate. The kids enjoyed having hot chocolate and watching movies while at the house. Living out in the country no one delivers to us, so having pizza delivered from Toppers was amazing! We also visited the local park and antique shop.

The place was lovely. Comfortable first floor with living room to hang out in, a small study, nice kitchen. I texted host to let her know we couldn’t get water to come out of the first floor shower and she wrote back that she couldn’t get a plumber on the weekend, that we should just use the upstairs shower.I told the host about the chair that collapsed within first 5 minutes of us sitting in it. It had rotten wood so we discussed the issue with VRBO and they said we were not responsible for replacing.

Fantastic home!

We had a great time staying here. Kitchen was perfect for meals with the family and so conveniently located—minutes from town and WSU! Beds were comfy and very cozy sheets and blankets. Will absolutely stay here again!

The owners are very timely in their communication. The home is always clean and has things to do (books, games) and information about what is going on around town. While my kids all have their own space, the house lends itself to hanging out and enjoying each other's company! I love that house is updated, but still retains some original craftmanship and charm.

Excellent Place

We loved staying here. The house is beautiful. Close to lots of restaurants and an excellent bakery. We had a friends weekend away and found everything to be very comfortable for 7. There is only mealtime seating for 8, and it is in two rooms, something to keep in mind if you have a big group, but it worked just fine for us. Beds were really comfy, and they had lots of blankets. Kitchen had everything we needed. 2 bathrooms was a must for us and much appreciated, but we did notice a lack of water pressure downstairs if water was running elsewhere. Everything was cozy and well done. We would come back!

Cleaning details

This property was fantastic and well equipped. We were delighted. There are some cleaning details that could improve, coffee pot was not properly cleaned, lots of dusty webs in the back of porch, baseboards, trim, etc. A little attention to detail on the cleaning would be advised. But I would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you!
