This is a unique 2 story antique building that has been completely renovated into 4 small apartments. This property was designed with the porpoise of offering our guest an oasis of peace, tranquility; geared towards meditation and relaxation. Though we are located only few minutes from restaurants, stores, hospitals, universities and much more, once you turn into our street, you will notice the quiet and serine atmosphere of the neighborhood.

My son and I stayed here while we attended the Sun n Fun airshow in Lakeland. The rental was perfect and the amenities were exactly what we needed. It was also easy to communicate with the property owner. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again if in the area!

Cozy apartment in Winter Haven

This apartment is convenient to shopping and restaurants. It has good parking, is secure, and is well maintained. This is the third apartment that we have stayed in within this building and it was perfect for two people.

Perfect stay

I was in need of a place to stay for the week while I was in town for my daughter’s softball games. This place was perfect and only 3 miles from the field. On a very quiet street near a beautiful public park on the water. Very comfortable stay.

Clean, Quiet and Outstanding Amenities

This little apartment provided a safe, quiet respite while were were in town visiting friends. Loved having our own kitchen and separate living room area. The shower was roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Every room was clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Property was great, communication was not

When it came to checking in, this was the most difficult and upsetting experience I’ve ever had. It took the host several contact attempts from Vrbo in order to receive my checkin instructions. Due this I was almost without a place to stay during training for work. After sitting on the phone with Vrbo for an hour and a half I was finally sent the instructions 5 hours after initial checkin time. However, the property was extremely clean and you could tell it was taken care of. Additionally snacks were set out and it felt like a home away from home. My final remark is the listing states it includes a washer and dryer. When staying at other properties that state it has a washer and dryer it is in the unit and ready to use. However, this was not the case. When I messaged the host asking where it was, they replied several hours later stating I would have to pay them additional $10 to utilize the washer and dryer on the property. Overall, the property was great and felt homey. However, there were several bumps that caused too many disruptions for me to be completely satisfied.

Everything you need for a winter's stay in Winter Haven 🙂

The property fit my needs perfectly. The street was very quiet with easy in and out to the main road. The furnishings/pillows were super comfy with TVs in LR and BR (great for watching NFL playoffs 😉). Loved the giant shower with great water pressure. The property could not have been cleaner!

Second visit.

This was my second stay with Gladys, and other than one small hiccup, it was just perfect. The door code didn't work upon arrival, but it was quickly remedied, and Jullianna even came out to check on me. I plan on staying here every time I come to visit.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The host responded promptly to questions. The overall stay was great. The only drawback was the listing was misleading as far as a washer/dryer. There was one on the property, but you had to schedule ahead to use it and there was an additional fee. Otherwise great place!!!

Just ok stay

Was a bit disappointed with the description that said laundry available. It is not in the apartment and you have to pay extra and make an appointment to even use. Was not convenient or even available so had to go to a laundromat. Their description was “ washing machine clothes dryer iron & board”. We were not given even a dish cloth to wash the dishes just a 1/2 cut scrub/sponge.
