To the north of the old town, with its many old half-timbered houses, is the In der Helle spa park, where you can play mini golf in summer and toboggan in winter. One of the highest and probably best-known mountains in the Sauerland rises in the Winterberg district: the Kahle Asten, where the Lenne rises. You will spend your holiday close to the Winterberg ski resort with a wide range of sports facilities; the St. Georg ski jump on the Herrloh and the bobsleigh run in the VELTINS-EisArena. Varied ski and toboggan runs offer something for everyone, whether beginner or professional.
