Welcome to Here Comes the Sun(set), hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This stunning waterfront cottage is located in the Point Beach area of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. Completely renovated in 2018, this home combines modern comforts with Door County's rustic charm. The property features 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests.

Additional amenities include a well-equipped workspace with a desk and chair for remote work, and entertainment options such as Direct TV, streaming services on 4 Smart TVs, a DVD player, and a selection of books and games.

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

Watercraft docking at dock is not allowed
Dock is installed seasonally (installed approx Memorial Day weekend and taken out mid-October)
No garage access

This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, weddings, or other gatherings.

Great location just a few minutes from the Egg Harbor shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed, including a lot of games and activities that kept our kids entertained. Loved sitting out by the lake and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets.

If you think a view is worth 1k per night then this is your place. If you want a clean property with hot water (7 year old hot water heater went out on 2nd day, then 3 days of daily plumber visits which temporarily fixed it, ended up not able to fix until after check out), a clean dishwasher (this one left remnants of food from previous visitors on all of the food and smelled like old garbage), clean dishes in the cabinets (all of the dishes had food stuck to them), a functioning grill (we had to go buy one), towels that don't smell like mold (had to rewash everything...in cold water...because of hot water heater issue) then this is the place for you. Nice property. Well maintained and equipped. You can't really swim or boat from this property because the lake is too shallow where the dock ends -- but it is easy to go to the beach or marina intown.

Amazing location, very responsive

Love this place. Has everything you could want and in a fantastic location. Would be great if there was air conditioning for upstairs bedrooms. But, beautiful, comfortable and luxurious stay. Would definitely book again!

Beautiful property. Needs a new bed

Our family experienced a wonderful Labor Day weekend and this property. It is clean, well equipped and in a perfect location. Lots of space for our group of eight. The one big negative was the very saggy bed in the master bedroom. please replace that bed for your future customers. while we had a great time, my husband and I would’ve enjoyed it so much more had we’ve been able to sleep well.

Great Family Getaway

Our extended family enjoyed this beautiful home for a long weekend in Door County. The location on the water cannot be beaten! We watched gorgeous sunsets every night around the outdoor fireplace and had plenty of room to relax, play and enjoy one another’s company. This home’s kitchen is well-equipped for a large family and the mud room is so nice to have! We will definitely be coming back to this gem. Thank you!

great family vacation home

This place worked great for 3 generation family of 12, including 2 and 3 year old grandkids. Amazing sunsets. Yard games were great, especially the shuffleboard. Bunk room worked well for teenagers. Enough shower and bathroom space with 3 and 1/2 baths. Outdoor fireplace worked well (would help to have starter stick). Kitchen and space for family meals worked great. Location to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim and Sister Bay was great (Fish Creek is our favorite to visit and shop). Took many morning hikes in Peninsula state park. Close to put-put and go-karts. Bikes available. The host company was very organized and responsive. Highest rating is well deserved for this VRBO

Great location!

We loved our stay at ‘Here Comes the Sunset’. The location is great
 a wonderful private location but close to Egg Harbor and all that there is to do there! Great views and loved being on the water! We had a little hiccup at check-in and with the garbage situation but resolved very quickly
 and great communication with the Property manager. Would definitely stay here again!

Door County - Fall 50

It was a perfect weekend. Great family fun and another Fall 50 under our belts. This was our original core team’s 5th year running this relay. So much fun, laughs and support for our “Undertrained” team. Everyone said the house was perfect and the view, extraordinary! We all agreed that if available and we are all healthy, we’d like to book for next year.

Amazing Home!

We had a great time staying at the lakeside home. Home was very clean and well-equipped with everything. The shuffleboard on the lakeside patio was a bonus and lots of fun. The only negative is the million tiny black bugs that emerged at night. No fault of the owners of course. Would definitely stay there again! Book it if you get ghe chance!

Door county rental home

Our expectations were exceeded when we arrived. The property was very well kept and very comfortable for adults and kids. We were very pleased and would rent this property again.
