Incidentally, the Old Harbor is also a very popular venue for events and festivals.<br>Wismar’s historic Old Town is only about a 10-minute walk away. Here you’ll find numerous shopping options, restaurants, and cafés, a vibrant selection of leisure activities and nightlife, as well as sights and places to visit. The city on the Baltic Sea and its events—such as the Swedish Festivals or the Harbor Days—attract over 500.000 visitors annually. The island of Poel is perfect for long walks on the beach.
