The 4 star holiday house 'Antonia' is not far from the Werra Cycle Path. Well-signposted bike paths invite you to take a bike tour. The cherry hiking trail tells everything about the cherry. Canoeing on the Werra. Fun for the whole family. Brewery tour in the Witzenhausen private brewery. Festivals in Witzenhausen: Kesper fair and old town festival always on the 2nd July weekend of the year or Thanksgiving and local festival on the penultimate weekend in August.


The cherry and university town of Witzenhausen is charmingly embedded in the romantic Werra valley and is the center of one of the largest and oldest cherry growing regions in Germany. The attractive old town with its valuable half-timbered buildings testifies to medieval culture and architecture. In Witzenhausen it was possible to preserve the old and open up to the new.
Here is our beautiful apartment, which offers 80 m² of space for 1-5 people. 2 separate bedrooms, a bedroom with two single beds, comfort equipment, a living area, a flat-screen TV with Sky, sports, Bundesliga, films and WiFi (free of charge), a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with barbecue facilities and a own parking space at the house complete the offer.

The Werra Valley Cycle Path is not far from the apartment. Well-signposted paths invite you to enjoy beautiful tours. The cherry hiking trail tells everything about the cherry. Canoeing on the Werra or a tour of the brewery in the Witzenhausen private brewery is also popular. Visitors can also find a wide range of sports, fun and fitness in Witzenhausen. a. in the mineral water outdoor pool, tennis, squash, horse riding, bowling, mini golf or gliding. When you stop in one of the numerous, well-kept restaurants, you will definitely enjoy the sour cherry pork.

The symbol of the city, the cherry, has determined the course of the year for more than a century and a half. The cherry blossom is also a special experience for visitors to Witzenhausen Week, especially when hiking on the specially designated cherry blossom trails. For the cherry harvest, the big cherry and old town festival takes place on the second weekend in July. Many visitors flock to the town at the Kesperkirmes (dialectically kesper = cherry) to greet the newly crowned cherry queen in addition to the festivities or to take part in the championships in 'cherry stone spitting'. In addition to the cherry, the name Witzenhausen is closely linked worldwide to that of the university, its sights and the like. a. also the greenhouse for tropical and subtropical crops belongs. The ethnological museum is housed in a stylish half-timbered building. Approximately 2000 exhibits from different cultures show the diversity of human life today and then. We look forward to you!

Schöne Tage in der Ferienwohnung Antonia

Wir haben sehr schöne Tage in Witzenhausen in der Ferienwohnung Antonia gehabt. Es war alles da was man braucht,es fehlte an nichts. Das einchecken über den Schlüsselkasten hat auch super geklappt. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir sicher unterstellen. Alles top!!!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Die FeWo lieg sehr ruhig und auch nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum. Wohnimmer, Essküche aber auch die beiden im Obergeschoß befindlichen Schlafräume und das Bad sind mit Gage Fenstern ausgestattet. Alles ist liebevoll und eingerichtet und auch die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Man kann diese Ferierienwohnung mit guten Gewissen empfehlen, wenn man in dieser reizvollen Landschaft einen Wanderurlaub starten will.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in super Lage!!

Sehr schöne geräumige und sehr ruhige Ferienwohnung mit einer sehr guten Ausstattung! Wenn doch mal etwas fehlen sollte oder man eine Frage hat, kann man problemlos die Vermieter erreichen, welche direkt nebenan wohnen! Die Innenstadt ist nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, top!! Perfekt ausgestattete Oase der Ruhe

Die Wohnung entspricht genau der Beschreibung und hat alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt - von der Technik über die Küchenausstattung bis hin zu einem wunderschönen Bad. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt zum Vermieter, der stets erreichbar war. Das Stadtzentrum ist nur wenige Fußminuten entfernt, so dass das Auto auf dem eigenen Stellplatz stehen bleiben kann. Absolut empfehlenswert!

angenehmer Kurzurlaub im Herbst

Die Ferienwohnung war genau wie beschrieben und sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man hatte alles was man braucht und noch etwas mehr ( Internet, Sky ). Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und die Außenjalousinen lassen einen gut schlafen. Die Gegend ist sehr vielseitig , man kann drei Bundesländer besuchen und es gibt viele interessante Burgen ( Kassel, Eisenach ). In den Städten gibt es neben Freizeitbeschäftigungen ( Kino, Bowling, Museen u.a. ) natürlich auch genug Möglichkeiten für Shopping. Und wenn man mit Fahrrad unterwegs sein kann, gibt es ebenfalls genug Möglichkeiten zum Radeln durch die Natur ( wurde leider nicht von uns genutzt ). Im Ganzen gesehen - eine schöne Gegend um mal einen Kurzurlaub zu genießen.

7 Tage im Wohlfühlhaus

Wenn man die Absicht hat,sehenswerte Städte im nördlichen Hessen, im südlichen Niedersachsen und in Thüringen zu besuchen, ist Witzenhausen im Werratal ein idealer Ausgangs- punkt. Wenn man dann noch das Glück hat, das Ferienhaus "Antonia" via Internet zu finden, ist der Urlaub perfekt.Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen, es liegt ortsnah,sehr ruhig, Raumaufteilung und Ausstattung sind sehr gut, die Vermieter ausgesprochen freundlich. Es gibt - aus unserer Sicht - keinerlei negative Aspekte zu erwähnen.

Das sehr schöne Ferienhaus liegt 5 Gehminuten entfernt von der sehenswerten Altstadt mit sehr guten Lokalen und dem Werra-Ufer, trotzdem völlig ruhig im Grünen. Top-Ausstattung, blitzblank, modern, unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe - und wir können im Grunde nur alles voll und ganz bestätigen was in der Beschreibung steht und was die anderen Bewertungen aussagen. Für Wanderungen und Radtouren ein idealer Ausgangspunkt und in der überaus gemütlichen Außensitzecke kann man sich bei herrlichem Vogelgezwitscher wieder von den Strapazen erholen.

Erholsame Tage in toller Fewo

(Mittwoch, 29. August 2012 10:18) Wir haben in der tollen Ferienwohnung sehr erholsame Tage verbracht. Sie ist tadellos ausgestattet, sehr sauber und komfortabel. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Lage ist stadtnah, auch die schöne Umgebung bietet viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden die Wohnung in jedem Fall wieder buchen.
