If you’re looking for a relaxed holiday, then look no further than Mortehoe. This picture-postcard village in Devon is the perfect place to stay and explore the countryside. This two-bedroom apartment offers a comfortable and homely place to rest your head after a day of exploring. Being in the centre of the village of Mortehoe with its array of eateries and some fabulous coastal walks. Woolacombe Beach, just a mile away, with 3 miles of sandy shores, crystal-clear blue sea, and excellent surf.


Step inside the ground floor to find an entrance hallway – perfect for storing any outdoor equipment or beach essentials. Follow a flight of stairs up to the half landing with WC, a few steps further will then bring you to the living area of the apartment. Take a seat in the lounge in front of the Smart TV and settle in to watch your favourite box set. From this room you have access through the doors to the dining room. The separate kitchen offers everything needed for your stay. Head up the stairs to the second floor. The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, and there is also a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Each bedroom boasts lovely countryside views.


With its convenient location, this property does not have private outdoor space, but you are just not far from a sandy bay, and nearby Woolacombe (1 mile) provides miles of sandy shores. The area is full of magnificent viewpoints, most of which are within easy reach of the cottage. For example, Morte Point and Bull Point Lighthouse are both within 1.5 miles, and the beautiful Baggy Point is just 7.5 miles away. Follow the Southwest Coast Path for captivating coastal views, and keep your eyes peeled for seals! If you prefer to explore the area on foot or by bike, the famous Tarka Trail is one mile away.

- Digital parking permit included for 1 car in nearby car park (150 yds).

- Car registration must be submitted at the time of booking

- Interior storage for surfboards or bikes

- Reduced head height in both bedrooms

- Permits are provided and are either for 4 days or 7 days, so for a week stay, Sat to Sat, the 7 day permit starts on the first Sat, and ends at midnight on the following Fri. The Sat of departure is not covered, you can pay at the car park of use the Ringo app if extra time is required.

- Pub, shop and beach less than 0.5 miles
