Très bon hôtel dans la campagne
Publié le 19 juill. 2019 sur HotelsHôtel charmant dans la campagne (un peu éloigné de tout). Grande chambre propre avec tour le confort nécessaire. Possibilité d'utiliser la piscine et le sauna mais nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu le temps d'en profiter... nous avons également mangé au restaurant et l'avons trouvé très bon !

They seem to have advertised themselves as 4 star which again in the 80's or 90's maybe it was. There is nothing terrible here so long as your prepared for an average out of date hotel. I think I would have been less annoyed if they had not decided to charge 4 star food prices for 2 star food. Overall disappointed and not as advertised !

The bed was comfy but the room lacked plug sockets and the furniture was old. The carpet had a large stain and the corridor and rooms smelt unaired and musty.
Staff were not chatty and breakfast tables were not correctly set so you had to ask for cups, spoons, small plates etc.
it’s a shame because the pool was clean and the sauna was great.
We thought the pricing on dinner was too high £5 for coleslaw as a side was the most extreme! So we had dinner elsewhere.

Nice spa but tired rooms
Publié le 13 févr. 2024 sur HotelsI can't fault the spa area. We used the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and left feeling very relaxed. Unfortunately, the hotel rooms were quite poor in comparison. We paid for the superior rooms but the carpet was completely threadbare in places, the phone in the room didn't work, we couldn't get a wifi reception and there was no water in the room when we arrived. With the exception of the reception area, the communal area were all looking a little tired and knocked about. The food in the restaurant was limited, with no healthy option, but the portions were good and the food was tasty.
