Our room was as far away from the main lobby as possible. No other guests/vehicles in our area. Dark parking lot. Not a safe feeling. Intended to enjoy time in the lounge, but it was so far away, we would have to drive there and back from the room. The hotel was by no means full in occupancy (hardly occupied), so we don't understand the reasoning for this room location.
Hallway was extremely cold and room was extremely hot when walking in initially. Room temp was controllable, but only after reducing the temperature, leaving the room and coming back later, again through a cold hallway.
Took quite some time to get warm/tepid water at night. Better in the am.
The king size bed was like an oversized hammock. Swayed into the middle and so soft it was uncomfortable.
Ability to charge cell was nearly impossible. The wall plug was in the center of the king sized bed and the lamp had no plug in options. Had to swap out lamps to charge cell phones on the nightstand.
The corners of the bathroom floor very much need attention. Quite a great deal of dirt build up.
Had this been our first stay in this hotel, the review would be one star. We know this hotel has much higher quality accommodations as we have both stayed there for personal and professional reasons. Based on this and the availability of rooms, we are not impressed with our stay. Definitely would not recommend this hotel based on our most frequent stay.
