I was staying at the 16th floor for a business trip.Service was very good and the location is fantastic. Close to subways (5 minutes walking) and Chinatown (10 minutes walking) if you like Chinese food. It is right across from the Yakahoma pier. Night view was majical.

I liked the property because it was within 1/2 mile (805 meters) of the Yokohama Passenger Cruise Terminal and walking distance to chinatown. What I didn't like was that there was no shuttle service from the hotel to the cruise port, particularly since it's so close!

Great Classical Hotel

Cyashitsu ryokan offers a very different experience than staying at a hotel. During the check in process, the employees gave me a welcome tea and snack while explaining the property. The room was immaculate with a view of the street. You get a 45 minute use of the private spa.

Excellent location, it is right next to the harbor and Chinatown. We went out to watch the fireworks and walked around at night. The hotel is beautiful and we love the historical significance of the hotel. The staff are amazing and so is the restaurant. The only reason I gave 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because the hotel room is a little stuffy and the beds are a little too firm. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay.
