We really enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal. It has much easier access to the beach than we expected - it's only about a 5 minute walk, but it's outside the main pedestrian zone and vehicle access off of Route 1 is very quick and easy. Being maybe 100 yds from the York Beach Brewery was a bonus for our adult party! The rooms are very spacious, with lots of room and seating. We were easily able to host a group of about 15 family following the formal reception for my mother's service - there is seating for at least 20 people outside (not including sitting on the edge of the pool and dangling feet in the water). There's plenty of seating in the great room space (we never even used the upstairs den/TV room). Several members of our group appreciated the puzzles that were there, and there are lots of board games available for those rainy beach days. The AC was much appreciated, as we were there during the peak of the heat wave (temps reaching the mid-90s!). I can't imagine what it would have been like in the non-AC places we stayed at when my children were young. The beds are new and comfortable, and we appreciate that the owners chose not to cram in extra beds to maximize sleeping space. The hosts were very responsive by text with a couple questions we had upon arrival, and Scott came over in person to fix one problem. I highly recommend staying here - it's the nicest place we've rented in 25 years of intermittent York Beach visits.
