Nice property with unclear payment policy

We have the following coments: The property - Spacious house appeared according to the website description - The terrace with pool is very nice - Well equiped and in general nice maintained, except for one of the bathrooms with a leakage pointed out when we arrived due to wather on the floor. This was not fixed even we pointed out several times - The house was clean, yet a minimum of towels where provided (relatively small towels and no change during 6 days) The payment - In addition to property charges, service fee and damage deposit we had to pay the owners represenative in cash the following upon arrival: tourist tax adding up to 480 Kuna and additional damage deposit - As far as we can see this was not specified by you as a part of the total rental contract - When leaving, the property representative appeared quite aggresive related to the following: - We adjusted the temperature in one of the refridgerators in order to cool down our refreshments, this was regarded by the owners representative as an unappropriate act from our side. - One of the harwood chairs had a breach and was not usable when one of us used it and the owners representative wanted us to pay for a new chair. In good faith we offered to pay 500 Kuna to settle the dispute, yet he refused and kept 600 Kuna of the additional deposit we had to pay in cash. - Renting properties from Homeaway has allways been a pleasent experience. We have benefited from your services several times and never experienced to pay additional in cash. Both parties had a high temperature in the closing arguments when leaving the property and it is difficult to reccomend renting the site. On the other hand the representatives mother (the owner) acted very nice and polite.
