This was a special trip, and the accommodation was chosen carefully based on its high ratings and positive reviews across hotel booking platforms. Unfortunately, despite these expectations, we faced a serious and unexpected safety issue, combined with a complete lack of action from the property to demonstrate concern or to provide a sense of security.
The room was aesthetically pleasing and well equipped; however, there was a major safety concern that cannot be overlooked. There were multiple large cracks in the glass panel located directly above our heads, which posed a potential risk. Due to this situation, I felt compelled to sleep in the living room, as I did not consider it safe for my family to remain in the bedroom.
I raised this concern with the accommodation staff and was simply informed that they were already aware of the issue, that it allegedly did not represent a safety risk, and that a request to replace the glass had already been made. Nevertheless, no effective action was taken during our stay. No one came to inspect the glass in person, and we were not informed of this condition in advance. Having some knowledge of glass structures, I could not reasonably consider the situation safe.
We also experienced minor issues related to scheduling the jacuzzi, but those were secondary. The core problem was the cracked glass itself, combined with a lack of transparency, clear communication, and empathy from the reception staff, who failed to propose any solution that
