garden palace hotel- amazing laganas experience

The experience was amazing, and everyone looked after us all the time. There was one day when our room wasn't cleaned properly, but despite that the service was amazing, and everyone was really friendly. Would definitely go back.

NAO FIQUEM NESSE HOTEL!

Was all good until the second night in when my pregnant fiancé wanted to go the toilet in our room as we passed the hotel to meet family down the road, the owner was standing on the door and wouldn't let her in saying she wasn't staying there and he decided to call her rude and get aggressive with her. I then proceeded to go over and ask what the problem was he then got in my face saying I was too aggressive for his hotel so it was time to pack my bags and get out, him and another man who worked there stood round me shouting in my face to give them the room key or they are calling the police on us to get us locked up. This went on for a good 10 minutes where I was refusing to hand over the key then to be left out on the streets at 11 o'clock at night with my pregnant fiancé. They finally eased off and let us back into the hotel, but give us dirty looks throughout the rest of the week leaving us to not spend any time in our own hotel. We think think this is disgusting behaviour and would recommend knowone to stay here.

Good base, clean and comfortable

Good location, walking distance to the beach and the main strip. Facilities have plenty of stairs. Pool good. Staff nice. Rooms spacious and clean. Good base to stay at. Hire a scooter to get around... but be careful of dodgy bikes going around.
