Spacious, modern and yet rich of traditional features, Villa Agricola is a superb example of Greek hospitality. Perfectly located just outside the famous seaside resorts of Alikes and Alikanas, the villa can sleep up to 11 guests in classy, stylish interiors (totally renovated) and is surrounded by extensive gardens with a newly added private swimming pool. Thanks to its character, great location, welcoming interiors and high value for money, Villa Agricola is a top seller property attracting repeat clients year after year.

Inside, the villa is set over 2 floors, has beautiful terraces and has been totally renovated to offer an unbeatable holiday experience. On the ground floor, airy and spacious, there are a comfortable lounge (sofas, satellite TV, wi-fi internet), a purposely-built fully equipped kitchen (4 cooking rings, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine), 3 en-suite double bedrooms (all with air-conditioning, satellite TV, en-suite shower room). On the upper floor (reached via an external staircase) there are 2 further air-conditioned bedrooms, respectively a double and a twin, sharing a family bathroom with bathtub. On the upper floor there is also a useful lounge with a sofa-bed perfect for welcoming the 11th guest as well as a kitchenette. The whole property (bedrooms and common areas) is air-conditioned. Large terraces offer beautiful views over the gardens and the swimming pool. The terraces are shaded and provided with side covers to be enjoyed even during the beginning or end of season.

Outside, Villa Agricola is a true oasis within the beautiful Mediterranean nature! There are plenty of mature trees, shrubs, flowers, paved terraces and gardens with lawn. Spending long hours under the shining sun, or strolling around the gardens, will be a true delight! A covered dining area (table for 10 guests) with barbecue is available for delicious meals, and plenty of seating areas are available all around the grounds. The newly added private swimming pool measures 8m x 5m (depth 1.4m) and is beautifully lit at night. Comfortable sunbeds are available for the guests to enjoy.

This is a lovely villa set in beautiful gardens with a good sized pool and plenty of parking. The location is very central - the beaches of Alykes and Alykansas are nearby and it is about 25 mins from the airport. Givenb what we paid for it, we were a little disappointed on arrival as the11th bed wasn't there and the kitchen was lacking in basics that we had previously found when renting villas eg there were no dishcloths,teatowels etc and only glass wine glasses to drink from which would not be a good idea with 5 children next to a swimming pool! However on contacting the rental company the owner was very quick to respond and provided everything we needed. Beds were quite hard but comfortable and the bedding was crisp and clean although some towels needed replacing. The pool was checked frequently and cleaned out, and rubbish was removed promptly. Some cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner or dustpan and brush would have been useful although someone did come round to clean half way through the week which was nice to have clean linen. The property is advertised as having a "kitchenette" upstairs but the reality was this had nothing in it and we were told it was not useable. The other thing that might be useful to know is that the property is actually accessed from the side, driving through the entrance of a property that is being renovated rather than from the front/main road which caused us some confusion on arrival!

Wonderful

Great accommodation with authentic Greek elements. Some services are dated, but others modern. The house is very large and the private swimming pool is great. Wonderful suroundings with view on the mountains. Great located in de middle of the island within 30min drive to all hot spots. Alykes Beach is highly recommended. Not crowded, nice sandy beach and great Neraida Alykanas Beach bar/restaurant with very friendly people. Very friendly owner of the house and helpfull agency with direct communication.

Fantastische villa voor een groep vrienden

Heerlijke villa met fijne terrassen buiten en ruime slaapkamers. Wij hebben de katten lekker hun gang laten gaan, maar niet iedereen houdt van katten in huis, dus een vermelding op de site zou wel fijn zijn. En dubbele sleutels was ook fijn geweest. Maar overall hebben wij het heerlijk gehad in Villa Agricola👌

Best holiday ever!

Just had a fabulous week in Zante. We are a family with four children (9,11,13,15) and this villa was just amazing. I was worried the pictures looked too good but it is just like this for real! There is so much space and so many different seating areas it is difficult to use them all. The barbecue area is great and pool is brilliant (and not too cold). Please note that the villa is actually two separate flats. 3 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs only accessed by the outside steps and a separate front door. If you have younger children this might be an issue having them in a separate flat but was fine for us. The area is brilliant and it was nice to be away from the more tacky resorts in the south. Highlights include: Xigia beach (south) Climb up mount Vrachionas Walk from Skinari to Kilma Bay (the most amazing snorkelling spot ever). Walk to Vertzagio caves directly from the house Would highly recommend getting the Sunflower Guidebook to make the most of the island. This villa is highly recommended and we are already thinking of returning there.

UNA BELLA ESPERIENZA

La casa corrisponde esattamente alle fotografie. Ogni stanza al piano terra ha il proprio bagno comprensivo di asciugacapelli. La cucina dispone di tanti elettrodomestici compresa macchinetta per il caffĂš nespresso. La piscina Ăš magnifica. Ogni 3 giorni vengono effettuate le pulizie con cambio asciugarmi e lenzuola. Vacanza perfetta !!!!

Fantastische vakantiewoning!

Wij verbleven met ons gezin (2 kinderen) en opa en oma 2 weken in de villa. Opa en Oma bovenverdieping en wij beneden. Was echt ideaal! Heel fijn huis met heerlijk terras achter en fantastisch zwembad! Ook de ligging is heel prettig, mooi centraal en dichtbij supermarkten en leuke stranden! Zeker een aanrader!
