## Neighborhood

Zandvoort has something to offer for almost everyone. From lots of beach clubs and restaurants in summer, where you can have great food and drinks to more quietness to enjoy nature in the winter times. Generally, all you need is closeby and mostly in walking distance. What are you looking for in your trip?

The village is embedded by two National Parks; De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling the beach those are two great areas to walk or cycle. There's so much more you can do! For instance mountain-biking around the race-track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well?

We also have a great race-track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize a lot of activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. Maybe you want to get your race-license?

Last but not least, from Zandvoort you can easily get to Amsterdam by public transport which allows you to combine an exciting citytrip with a relaxed getaway next to the beach.

## Transit

Zandvoort aan Zee has its own train station to which you can get in just 27 minutes from Amsterdam Central and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The train station is at a 4 minute walking distance from the accommodation. There is a direct line to Haarlem as well. Depending on your plans, public transport will get you around very well. We will share a handy website to plan your route.

Location, Location, Location

We visited in February. So it's proximity to the beach was not our main priority. If the beach is important to you, it is just footsteps across the road to the beach and the beach cafe. We used the accommodation as a quiet base for visiting Amsterdam and Haarlem. The train station is about 800 meters walk away. It was interesting sharing the commute, largely with locals, rather than fellow tourists. The Supermarket is handy and we tried some of the local restaurants. The Lebanese one was a good find. The accommodation was ideal for a couple. Its facilities are adequate and clean. Be mindful that the staircase is narrow so not ideal if you have mobility issues. We used it as a place to cook, shower and sleep in. If you want a luxurious spa, then look elsewhere and pay a lot more. This was a fair price for good accommodation. We would use it again and recommend it to friends.

Die kleine Wohnung liegt direkt am Strand und einer Einkaufsstraße, die zum Bummeln einlädt. Die Einrichtung ist wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Man hat einen schönen Ausblick auf das Meer.

Tolle Lage und sehr gemütlich

Eine tolle Wohnung, die perfekt für zwei Personen ist. Wir waren für 5 Tage zu zweit dort und hatten alles was wir brauchten. Die Nachttischlampen und die Steckdosen neben dem Bett hatten nicht funktioniert, doch nach dem Melden des Problems wurde sich sofort darum gekümmert und der Kontakt gehalten. Sehr gut und unproblematisch gelöst. Der Check-In und der Check-Out mit der Schlüsselbox hat total einfach funktioniert. Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage mit schönen Ausblick, da auf beiden Seiten Fenster sind. Zwei winzige Kritikpunkte sind die schmale Treppe (diese war uns aber bekannt) und der Geruch aus dem Bad (es hat manchmal/ häufiger nach Abfluss gerochen).

Pünklich angekommen-lag ein falsch gesendeter Code für den Schlüssel vor.Schaden wurde vom netten Hausbewohner durch Übergabe seines eigenen Schlüssels behoben.Zugang zum Studio durch eine absolutviel zu steil und klitzekleine Stufen- unzumutbare Treppe. für Bucher über 65 ein Grund zum Abreisen.Duschkabine nur durch Lüften auf zumutbaren Geruch zu reduzieren.Alles hat halt bessere Zeiten gesehen-ebenso die Parkplatznot vorm Haus.

Klein aber fein

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Appartement liegt nur wenige Minuten von der Innenstadt entfernt und das Meer ist direkt vor der Tür. Die Unterkunft war sauber und völlig ausreichend für 2 Personen für ein paar Tage.

Gerne wieder!

Für 4 Tage die perfekte Unterkunft. Toll gelegen, man ist zu Fuß in 2 Minuten am Meer, in der Fußgängerzone oder auch im Supermarkt. Einrichtung entspricht den Bilder online. Problemloser Check-In und Check-Out. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Studio Bamboa Beach House

Das Studio ist hell und freundlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leider gab es nachts extreme Windgeräusche durch die „Klappe“ am Kamin. Die Lage des Studios ist sehr gut. Das Badezimmer ist modern, wobei der Fussboden nicht so geeignet scheint: hier sammelte sich alles an den unebenen Steinen und das Wasser lief nicht richtig ab und bildete Pfützen. Leider gab es zur Säuberung keinen Staubsauger/Besen oä. und Handtücher zum Austausch nur auf Nachfrage. Da keine Wachmaschine im Haus war, nicht optimal für einen längeren Aufenthalt.
