Here’s a little bit of a back story. I planned a long weekend getaway for my fiance & I because it was his birthday. We flew in around 8:30pm and checked into our hotel at 9:00pm. We were exhausted, ordered food, & then fell asleep. Around 1:30am we were woken up to strangers walking into our room with their luggage. My fiancé jumped up half dressed in shock. The couple apologized and said “sorry we were given the key to this room” and awkwardly walked out. My fiancé and I started to freak out bc someone was able to enter our room that had all of our valuable items in it. A few minutes lady our hotel phone rang and it was the front desk. The gentlemen said he was so sorry and that this hasn’t happened in his 14 years of him working at this hotel. Long story short, the manager Melissa Green reached out to me and left a voicemail. She said this was her personal line and to let her know if I needed anything. I called her back 12 min later at 11:30am in afternoon& never got a response the rest of the day. The next morning I texted her and she responded asking me what time I wanted to come in for an interview. I told her I was the person who had in incident with someone walking in room; I asked her what can she do for me in this situation and what happens considering this is a freak accident on the hotels part. She offered me a bottle of wine to be dropped off at my room to compensate. Safe to say I’ll never be back to this unprofessional, dirty, and careless place. Save ur money!
