The Cookie Jar
All the staff were extremely polite, very friendly and helpful. Check in very smooth and easy. Room was very nice. Decor very pleasing to the eye. A very relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Schooner Hotel
The stay was just for overnight on way to Edinburgh. The hotel itself ok but the town was cute walkable and right on the North Sea. Found a great pub and then a restaurant for an amazing dinner. The hotel did live up to the haunted tales as we did experience something paranormal but not scary.

This is no-frills accommodation in the middle of lovely Alnwick and is priced accordingly. It's a quirky old building, just off the main street so all the shops, restaurants etc are a minute or two away. Free car parking is also a couple of minutes away. The Plough
Very clean, lovely staff, great parking and good bar. However, the room was freezing and had to sleep in my coat. Radiator never came on even though it was set to high. Also, need more than just 1 sachet of milk.
