I would recommend this place to anyone who goes to Cork. Spacious and quiet. We went with our 15 and 9 years old boys and they didn’t get bored as they had their own beds and plenty of plugs to charge their devices. This is a gem of a find. Beautifully fitted out and managed with exceptional care. The facilities in the room and common parts are simply great and nothing was too much trouble. Mitchelstown has much to offer but Birdies is above and beyond.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc ...
