"I loved the swimming pool area! The hotel staff was also very friendly. One point that I really disliked was the heavy solid wood trays in which the staff bring the meals for room service. The tray weights ~12lbs including the dishes and cutlery. This can be seeing as within proper weight limits. However, the hotel has around 400 rooms, if each room orders three meals per day, it means the staff is lifting around 14.400lbs. Adding the fact that you’re instructed to place the tray outside of the room at the corridor floor, there is also the ergonomic hazard of asking the staff to lift heavy trays ~1200 a day. All that for an insignificant value added, because a solid wood tray does not add costumer satisfaction or appreciation for the meal. In fact it can be cumbersome for elderly people or those with movement constrains, and disappointing to see that employees wellbeing is not a priority for the hotel chain. I summary, the hotel itself is great, the staff very friendly but witnessing the unsafe conditions in which the staff is being treated clouded the enjoyment of staying there. "
