One of the best hostels Iâve stayed at in Australia. Rooms were cleaned daily, beds comfortable, bathrooms clean. Kitchen got a big messy at times but do not believe that was at fault of the management but rather the other guests. Was spotless every morning. Lots of utensils, appliances and space to be shared!
Reception was super friendly and check in/out was quick and easy! Short walk into city centre and bus stops to access beaches around the corner!
Particularly friendly and informative staff. I even received access to bathrooms, kitchen & dining room and quiet room for the rest of the day after I had checked out. Room was fine for a standard hostel, very basic. We had a private room.
Kitchen area was GREAT so many ovens and stove tops, loads of fridges for food......really good.

I understand why they do it, but it meant we were then away till 4am trying to get back to sleep after going downstairs
Please be aware, the place has homeless people coming there in the evening. The shared bathrooms are dirty, had shavings all over. I was afraid for my mom with what looked like addicts/homeless people all around the area and at the place. After paying for the room and paying for parking and going out till the evening before bringing my stuff in, I felt uncomfortable/unsafe there. I dropped the keys off and checked out, booking a better place the night of...
