Great location, right in the middle of Main St, yet set back from the road so not too noisy. Comfortable quaint room, the staff left us a key to self check in and out, close to transport and all the sights of Hahndorf.

A swarm of bees were inside the reception and made their way into our room -Management staff not being on site made this more awkward to solve. This problem was met with an offer to clean the bees away, but when we requested to move to another room, one was found. Managers seemed unsure of how to deal with the bees- cleaning them away with mops and brooms didn’t get rid of the swarm. Perhaps an unfortunate incident but one which could have been handled better.
